WOMEN’S SELF DEFENSE CLASSES

These FREE four-hour classes are sponsored by the Oakland County Sheriff's Office in
partnership with the iGroup Model and Talent Agency, the Miss Michigan America
Organization, Oakland County Parks and Recreation, and Canterbury Village

Choose from one of the following classes:

Saturday, Sept. 19 - 9am-1pm @ Springfield Oaks County Park
Monday, Sept. 21 – 2pm-6pm @ Canterbury Village
Saturday, Sept. 26 - 9am-1pm @ Independence Oaks County Park
Monday, Sept. 28 – 2pm-6pm @ Friendship Park
Saturday, October 3 – 9am-1pm @ Catalpa Oaks County Park
Saturday, October 17 – 9am-1pm @ Catalpa Oaks County Park
Saturday, October 24 – 9am-1pm @ Waterford Oaks County Park

Classes will be held at these outdoor venues across Oakland County

with capacity limits and physical distance restrictions in place.

Participants are asked to bring:
• Face covering
• Layered clothing
• Water bottle
• Folding chair
• Comfortable outdoor and weather appropriate shoes

• Written permission is needed for participants 14-17 years of age
