1 Read the questions and answer them. Then
compare your answers with your partner.
1 If you had to study another foreign language, which
one would you choose and why?
2 If you discovered that your best friend had told
you a lie, what would you do?
3 If you saw someone stealing in a shop, would you
let them get away with it?
4 If you could choose any famous person in history,
who would you most like to be and why?
2 Choose one of the people in the photos and say
what their wishes might be. Your partner will
guess which person you have chosen.
Example: I wish I didn’t have to go to school today.
Now listen to your partner and guess which
person in the photos they are talking about.
3 Compare the two photos and talk together about
what they say about living in the city.
4 Discuss these situations with a partner.
Describe a time:
• when you made a bad decision.
• when you changed your mind about something.
• when you had a dilemma.
