Subject – Complaint regarding the ongoing corruption in the practical examination of the major
project in MG Polytechnic Hathras.

Sir,
I am a final year student of Electronics Engineering at MG Polytechnic School and am writing this letter
as anonymity to highlight the issue of corruption going on in the practical examination of the major
project conducted in MG Polytechnic's electronics branch.
The reason behind writing as anonymous is all students are being threatened by the teachers. If they
complain, their sessional marks will be affected. That’s why no one is coming forward.
In the name of education Suresh Chandra Yadav Sir (HOD of Electro. Engg.) running a business.
He assigned a project name according to him, to the groups of students, and send them to his
participating project maker’s shop. He is not even giving the students the opportunity and time to try
themselves. Students are not even complaining to the principal, thinking he is also involved in this
racket or maybe the head of this.
I mentioned time because we all aware of the huge impact on every sector including education by this
pandemic. Instead of supporting students, they announced the date of practical on 17th Aug 2020, and
the exam was scheduled to be held on 3rd Sept 2020. In that short period, students were unable to
prepare their projects which were assigned by HOD. Along with that, they have to prepare all reports
and file and it is very difficult to manage all these things in a short period given by the college,
Considering the epidemic situation where the project components are not even available in stores.
They knew these challenges very well then partnered with Meghvrat Arya and forced all students to
go to his place to prepare all projects. He is charging very high costs for each project approx. 8000-
10000rs from a group of students. And when he was also unable to prepare those projects on time, the
exam date was automatically postponed. It shows that they all are together. I believe the max cost of a
project is around 1500-2000 Rs, and they are charging approx. 5 times the cost.
I want to highlight, Meghvrat has also been aligned by the HOD to prepare project files. And he is
charging the additional cost for that, which is around 600 Rs per student for a file. When a few students
decided to prepare at least files from their end, the teacher highlighted some standards that should be
matched to the files. This is a clear indication that we have no choice but to pay money to Meghvrat.
And this is also not sure whether we will get our project and files or not.
I, therefore request you to look into this matter and bring about a solution, so that this atrocity on all
students can be prevented. The economic condition of most of us students is not strong enough to
withstand the loot in the name of education. Please ensure nobody’s sessional marks will be affected by
this action.
