Genre: Drama Thriller (Based on real events) ma.

Why you should watch this film!

Everything happens in the city of Medellín, in Colombia, where he shows us the criminal
realities that have been plaguing this beautiful city for years, although, fortunately, they
are increasingly dominated and less prevalent.

As we can see in this excellent Colombian production. Without a doubt it is a true film, in
which the plot takes us along paths full of surprises and traps to an outcome, which,
although it may seem unexpected, pays tribute to humanism and the value of life.

The film tells us a story many times lived by these sides of the world. A hitman, a
motorcycle grill, ends the life of a good human being, in this case a university professor
who teaches challenging his students to delve deeper and ask valuable questions about
social reality, with the idea that the intelligence and humanism are the light that allows
us to find a better world. His daughter, a university student and a great friend of hers,
witnesses the crime and the face of the hit man is etched in his mind.

In Killing Jesus the daughter decides to become an investigative and active subject, once
she is convinced that no one is going to do anything real about the crime. She is
rebellious, from photographic experiences that looks at things with eyes that focus, she
faces justice in its oldest form, that of the law of talion and in its modern form, the one
that discovers the hidden motives and the underlying justifications, Relativizing the facts,
moving away from judgment and punishment.
It shows us that human behavior is always going to be mysterious, sometimes
unreasonable and selfish, sometimes intelligent, sometimes supportive and generous.

My opinion about this film

I believe that this type of film shows the reality lived by many people in our Colombian
country, since injustice, revenge, stubbornness, cruelty and lack of education prevail over
an evolved society; I feel that these films do not bring positive aspects to the audience;
on the contrary, they can exalt this criminal conduct.

I am convinced that the stories that go unpunished should be told in a different way, they
should not teach the tools and the means for people to do justice by their own hands.
