any scholar curriculums are compelled to be scrutinized discreetly before being applied into the
institutions.When it comes to the written works, there exists recommendations that it is more imperative for
students to comprehend their nations’ Literature than other countries’ while a plethora of opposers claim this
is unjustified. This essay will analyze the reasons for my partly disapproving of this matter.

On the one hand, the acquisition of national literature evidently brings about substantially positive
ramifications for each individual’s study path. To commence with, through this subject, scholars are
provided with chances to broaden their horizons about their country’s historical and cultural values. As a
matter of fact, conventional literature has transformed thoroughly since the primitive ages, under specific
dynasties , with ceaseless reforms established. Nevertheless, the main content remained to be the inhabitants’
daily lives, feasts and religions. Correspondingly, through the retold wars, national literature also instills the

reveals how determined Vietnamese citizens were to protect their country, even if they had to sacrifice
fiercely. These compositions act as the useful reminders for the current generations to be self-aware about
their responsibilities towards the whole country, as well as to express deep gratitude to glorious ancestors.

On the other hand, not inculcating the information about other countries’ literature in students’ minds would
be a huge flaw in the education system. The utmost point is, students only reach their potentials when getting
exposed to diverse lessons. Foreign literature supports learners with in-depth knowledge about the
developing processes and cultures of disparate areas worldwide, which averts the culture shocks bred from
future overseas studying. Moreover, foreign literature, especially of the developed and advanced nations like
the USA, the UK,.., is even comprised of economic values that are still widely disseminated on these days.
These assist students in training themselves to scrutinize every issue from different perspectives and enhance
critical thinking. Likewise, even in the future, foreign literature takes on a pivotal position in the community.
As regards businesses, grasping the other countries’ customs invariably stimulates efficient and like-minded
collaborations between conglomerates. Being the intermediary in this kind of relation definitely stands high
chances of getting promoted and reaching the peak of success in our careers.

In conclusion, for the aforementioned ideas above, both kinds of literature have been proved to possess
conspicuous strengths. In this case, the combination of these two in the scholar curriculum would generate a
more comprehensive and ideal subject for all the learners.
