IMPEDANCE ANALYZER

Impedance analyzer is an advanced component tester especially suited to

electrochemical impedance measurements and includes a variety of graphing functions
that are needed for battery and chemical material testing.
Ideal for Measuring Electrochemical Impedance
 Basic accuracy of +/- 0.05%, broad measurement frequency range of 1 mHz to
200 kHz as well as DC capabilities and high-speed measurement at up to 2 ms
 Cole-Cole plot display
 You can offset them to the left
 Electrochemical material and component equivalent circuit analysis

 Supports low-frequency measurements starting at 1 mHz

Frequencies as low as 1 mHz are needed to measure the electrochemical impedance of
phenomena such as ion behavior. With an upper frequency limit of 200 kHz, Model
IM3590 can also be used to measure properties such as solution resistance.
 Display a variety of graphs, including Cole-Cole plots
The IM3590 can perform frequency sweep measurement at up to 801 points and
display Cole-Cole plots. It can also perform level-sweep and time-interval
measurements.
 Measure 18 parameters, including dielectric constant and conductivity
In addition to Z, Y, θ, Rs (ESR), Rp, Rdc (DC resistance), X, G, B, Ls, Lp, Cs, Cp, D
(tan o), Q, and T, the IM3590 can measure the dielectric constant (ε) and conductivity
(O)
 Equivalent circuit analysis of electrochemical materials and components
The IM3590 provides four electrochemical component models and is capable of
isolating and analyzing properties such as charge transfer resistance and electric
double layer capacitance. It also provides five equivalent circuit analysis types for
normal circuit elements, materials, and components.

Photoelectric Sensor

A photoelectric
sensor, or photo eye, is an
equipment used to discover the
distance, absence, or presence
of an object by using a light
transmitter, often infrared, and
a photoelectric receiver. They
are largely used in industrial
manufacturing. There are three
different useful types: opposed
(through beam), retro-reflective,
and proximity-sensing (diffused).

A proximity-sensing (diffused) arrangement is one in which the transmitted

radiation must reflect off the object in order to reach the receiver. In this mode, an object
is detected when the receiver sees the transmitted source rather than when it fails to
see it. As in retro-reflective sensors, diffuse sensor emitters and receivers are located in
the same housing. But the target acts as the reflector, so that detection of light is
reflected off the disturbance object. The emitter sends out a beam of light (most often a
pulsed infrared, visible red, or laser) that diffuses in all directions, filling a detection
area. The target then enters the area and deflects part of the beam back to the receiver.
Detection occurs and output is turned on or off when sufficient light falls on the receiver.
Power Quality Analyzer

Power meters and analyzers are best in class power measuring instruments for
measuring single to three-phase lines with a high degree of precision and accuracy. The
power quality analyzer for monitoring and
recording power supply anomalies, allowing
their causes to be quickly investigated, and
also for assessing power supply problems
such as voltage drops, flicker, harmonics, and
other electrical issues. New features include
the ability to drive current sensors straight from
the PQA and enhanced recording capabilities.

Insulation Fault Locator

Insulation fault locators are used in

combination with insulation monitoring devices
for localisation of insulation faults in unearthed power supplies (IT systems). They
detect the test current signals generated by the insulation monitoring device using
measuring current transformers and evaluate them correspondingly.
Insulation fault locators allow locating the fault source within a short period of time and
during ongoing operation.

Power Meter

The PW3337 series measure power on the full range of electrical equipment,
from single-phase devices such as battery-driven devices and household electronics to
industrial use and three-phase electrical equipment over 3 input channels. The power
meters provide coverage from DC to inverter frequencies with support for voltages up to
1000 V and direct-input currents of up to 65 A, and can also measure currents of up to
5000 A using an optional current sensor.
