ground open (indicating engine is Make sure all ground connections are
running, even when not) clean and tight.

Check connector at engine oil

pressure switch for corrosion or
damage. Repair as needed.

With engine running check continuity

of engine oil pressure switch to
ground. When engine oil pressure
switch indicates continuity through the
switch to ground, replace engine oil
pressure switch.

Disconnect engine oil pressure switch.

Ground switch connector to machine
frame (note there is a 5 second delay
in activation or deactivation in the oil
pressure circuit). Repeat calibration
procedure. If calibration is successful,
oil pressure switch has malfunction.
Replace engine oil pressure switch.

Check electrical circuit to the monitor.

Ground wire from pin D of MDU (black)
connector (X41). Repeat calibration
procedure. If calibration is successful,
this indicates an open circuit in wire
harness between the engine oil
pressure switch and the monitor.
Check and repair harness as
necessary.

Park brake pressure switch circuit NOTE:

ground open (park brake indicated as
off, even if applied) Correct park brake
engagement and
disengagement
does not indicate
the proper
operation of the
park brake
pressure switch
circuit.

Check park brake pressure switch

connector for corrosion or damage.
Repair as needed.

Disconnect park brake pressure switch

connector. Connect a jumper wire
between connector terminals (wires
M32 PUR and G01 BLK). Repeat
calibration procedure. If calibration is
successful, park brake pressure switch
has malfunction. Replace park brake
pressure switch.

Check continuity of the wires from park

brake pressure switch to the monitor.
Repair harness as necessary.
