Some of the sacrificial anodes on the rudder were not very good fitted and now are missing.
At port side it will be necessary to repair the mooring chock fitted between frame 180-185.
There was no reported other damage to the internal structures but because of the ship age under the Owner decision
to extend the life of the ship up to 3o years old, we plan a very detailed thickness measurement during the trip in
ballast to loading port having on board a approved technician for this purpose and under a nominated class
surveyor to certify the work.
The idea is to have at the end of the ballast voyage a specific repair file ,with all the steel to be replaced very clear
detailed and marked.
This create the chance to make shorter the period in shipyard and of course to avoid as much is possible the
supplementary list of repairs which is 3-4 time costly than the repair tendered and negotiated in advance .
