safety policies, it was a controlled environment within the workplace. It. Before the
observation I spoke with the trainee assessor and the learner being assessed to explain
and confirm why I was attending.

The learner was asked a set of questions to show knowledge and understanding of the
subject. Each question was straight forward and easy to understand. The learner didn’t
show the best of knowledge towards the subject making it difficult for …….to get the
learner to relax and answers to flow.
At the end of the assessment, ……delivered constructive feedback highlighting the
learner’s strengths and voicing points to develop. The learner showed an understanding of
the simple rules and procedures of …….in the workplace but was not fully competent.

Aim The Aim of my observation today was to comply with the assessment
criteria for unit 302 and by observing your performance as an assessor
with a learner using assessment methods such as Observation, Question
and Product, I will now give you feedback on this.
