Philosophical/Theological Approaches Illustrative Practices of the School

Idealist Moral Development is highlighted in the school philosophy.

The teacher tries to make it possible to accommodate all the learning needs of the
students.
The teachers are expected to be the role model and the main source of knowledge.
The teacher tries to inspire and uses real person's stories of success to inculcate that
attitude and character will lead to success or job and not the diploma a graduate
holds.
The students are then expected to imitate the teacher as an ideal person.
Lectures and writing is commonly observed in an Idealist school.
Teaching and learning is mostly from the book and teacher is mostly by the book.

Realist Teaching encompasses educating the mind and body by teaching different subjects
and applying it outside the classroom.

The teacher is rigid in planning the teaching and learning experiences and always
has to consider of the application of the ideas learned in the form of assessments.
The teacher presents the idea or the concept and the students and the teacher must
adjust with the students she has in order to engage students in learning.

different methods according to the his/her learners.

the all subjects are incorporated to solve a problem or when discussing a thing.
Students are grouped according to their interests. There is always movement in the
classroom. There is whole group, small group and invidual teaching.Students are
tested as they performed in the group.
Pragmatist The classroom is always active. The teaching – learning process is focused in
evaluating and solve real – life problems.Learning is hands- on.Students has to work
on projects wherein they will use what they know and discover what else they need
to know. The school has its students' government where in the students has a
miniature depiction of the real world activities. The school also incorporates " buy
and sell day" for the students to practice their Math skills. The teacher is an advisor,
and the students in the other hand plans how to solve a problema and the teacher
