Enable workplace user criteria after upgrading to

Workplace Safety Management version 1.2.2
Enable the workplace user criteria in the employee record producers when you
upgrade to version 1.2.2 of the Workplace Safety Management application so that
employees can access these catalog items from Service Portal to make workspace
reservations.

Before you begin

Role required: admin

About this task

Starting with v1.2.2, Workplace Safety Management restricts the use of record producers
for employee self-reservations to the role of sn_wsd_core.workplace_user. If you have
upgraded from v1.1.4 to v1.2.2, set the user criteria to the sn_wsd_core.workplace_user
role for these record producers.

Note: Users upgrading to versions newer than 1.2.2 can skip this procedure.

Procedure

1. Navigate to Service Catalog > Record Producers.

2. Find and open one of the following record producers:

• Request a short-term shift and space

• Request a short-term space

• Reserve a shift and space for a day

• Reserve a space for a day

3. From the Available For related list, click Users with Workplace user role.

4. Select the Active option.

5. Click Update.
