Are you a Christian meaning Christ-like?

(ABIDING IN JESUS)

A Christian is one who is Christ-like. First we must understand that we

cannot continue in sin, (1 John 1:8-10) (Hebrews 10:23-31) therefore
acknowledge what sin you have committed and repent before God. (Mark
1:5) After you have confessed your sin(s) seek God's word so that your
mind can be washed away from sin and that is understanding of not being a
worker iniquity. As you seek God's commandments in obedience you are
now on the right path to salvation. However, if you’re not covered by the
blood of Jesus; then you must get baptized in the name of Jesus only. (Acts
2:38) There is no other name under heaven by which you can be saved by,
except by Jesus. (Acts 4:10-12).

Please make sure that not only the church is teaching you obey God's
commandments, but also the one who baptizes you must be keeping God's
commandments. (Acts 10:40-48) This is to ensure that your walk in Christ is
according to God's word and not a commandment of man. (Mark7:1-16)
Today, many tend to focus on everyone’s lifestyle, rather than focusing on
God's word which is holy; for it sanctifies our soul and spirit.

And last if any man be hungry, let him eat at home. (1 Cor. 11:20-34) As
Christians we are to read God's word daily for it is our spiritual food which
keeps us on the right path of salvation through our obedience and subjection
to Jesus.

Do you keep the commandments written as a law and testimony of Jesus?

John 7:19
Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why
go ye about to kill me?
John 7:23
If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses
should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every
whit whole on the sabbath day?

John 5:43-47
43I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall
come in his own name, him ye will receive.
44How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not
the honour that cometh from God only?
45Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth
you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.
46For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of
me.
47But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

Matthew 12:8
For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

1 John 2:1-17
1My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an
advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
3And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are
in him.
14I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have
written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have
overcome the wicked one.
15Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of
the Father is not in him.
16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not
of the Father, but is of the world.
17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
