Mejorando el Acceso a la • Estudio sobre el estado del ejercicio de la abogacía en
Justicia Civil en América América Latina. Existe un conocimiento parcial respecto

ejerciendo la profesión legal en la región.

Observatorio de Conflictividad Civil y
Acceso a la Justicia (OCCA).
CEJA elaboró un estudio que analiza el tratamiento que el sistema de justicia penal
(ordinario y jurisdicción nacional) otorga a las causas de mayor complejidad y
mayor impacto social. Se divide en cuatro etapas:
•Segunda visita de campo a las ciudades de San Pedro de Sula y Santa Rosa de
Copán (abril 2018). Entrevistas a jueces y juezas del Poder Judicial y observación de
audiencias en juzgados de letras y sentencia de jurisdicción ordinaria y nacional.
CEJA está elaborando un estudio que analiza el tratamiento que el sistema de justicia

4. Contextualizar los resultados con las responsabilidades mínimas asumidas por los
respectivos Estados en cuanto a los DESCA.

BRASIL. Con IBDP (Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Processual) se realizó el VI Congresso
Mulheres no Processo Civil en Brasilia.
Participó especialmente la jueza argentina Maria Marta Nieto, quien expuso sobre el
Código General de Procesos de Chubut (Argentina) y la asistencia técnica de CEJA.

2.2 III Programa Brasilero sobre Reforma Procesal Penal (Curitiba en abril, Santiago
en octubre). Participación de 40 operadores/as del sistema de justicia (16 mujeres y
23 hombres), de los estados de Bahía, Paraná, Rio Grande do Sul, Minas Gerais, Rio
de Janeiro, Santa Catarina, Sao Paulo y uno de Perú. De ellos, 6 son defensores
públicos, 5 estudiantes, 1 coordinador de curso, 26 abogadas/os y una profesora.
2.4 Curso de Capacitación sobre Litigación en Audiencias Orales Civiles para juezas,
jueces, magistradas y magistrados de Puebla, México.
• Participaron 42 personas de nacionalidad mexicana, de los cuales 16 eran
mujeres, 26 hombres, todos mexicanos jueces y juezas de primera instancia y
magistradas/os de Corte.
