Can a large minion move through a space containing a single small minion provided it doesn't
end its movement there? If not, does it still try to reach the closest mouse through the
shortest path even if it is unreachable this way?
It will still attempt to reach the closest mouse even if it means it has to take the
shortest route around whatever is getting in the way.

Minion targeting choices

Q: Rulebook pg 16: "After moving with a minion, it attacks 1 mouse if able, following these
rules:
1. If a minion can attack more than 1 mouse, it will attack the closest mouse that has not
been attacked during this turn.
2. If more than 1 of those closest mice has not been attacked this turn, or if they have all
been attacked this turn, the minion will attack the mouse that is highest on the initiative
track."
Let's say you have 6 Elite Rat Warriors on the same space with line of sight to all the mice
(kitchen counter for example). Three mice are on the same space, two spaces away from the
rats, and Lilly is further away and she is first on the initiative track. Per the rules, the
first 3 attackers would target each of the 3 close mice in initiative order. The fourth
would attack Lilly (right?). What about the fifth and sixth? Would they both attack Lilly
again or the next mouses after Lilly in initiative order? If you follow the rules to the
letter, they would attack Lilly, but I'm not sure if that makes sense... (This situation is
not purely hypothetical btw. Something very similar happened at the Alchemist's Chamber of
Chapter 3 after a surge occurred.)

A: After all the mice have been attacked once, just start the process over with the last 2
rats.

yes

A minion cannot make a melee attack across red lines.

In the Pipe Labyrinth, is it possible for minions and/or mice, located on the same level but
on different pipes, to attack each other?
if you are referring to melee attacks, they can attack if they are adjacent. Black voids and
red lines break adjacency.

When you start the dice game, you begin with the 1st initiative card and go down the track
in sequence. This isn't really like taking a normal game turn. Instead it is just a turn of
playing dice.

If the rats get activated, place their card at the top of the track and start a round with
the rats going first.

It is mentioned that when splitting the group, you do not shuffle the initiative cards and
add minions at the bottom of the initiative track.
-> Does this mean that the initiative cards will never be shuffled as long as the group is
split up?
As mentioned in the rulebook, if you are adding minion cards to the initiative track when
there are already minions on the track, do not reshuffle, but if there are no minions, then
the new cards will trigger a reshuffle. In the case of this chapter there are usually
minions on the track so there are less reshuffles.

What about when adding cheese to the wheel when there are no minions? The rulebook says: "If
there are no minions on the board after the last mouse on the initiative track has taken a
turn, place 1 cheese token on the minion cheese wheel."
1) If this is the 6th cheese, which tile should trigger the surge?
Again, the tile the last mouse is on gets the surge.

2) When it says "no minions on the board", should I consider the whole board or each tile
where each party is separately? If the latter, should I add cheese to the wheel if I reach
the end of the initiative track and one tile is clear of minions but the other is not? If
both are clear, should I add two cheese?
If one tile is clear and the other is not, then there are still minions on the board.
