MY DREAMS

The forum was very interesting since I got to know the knowledge and thoughts of other people, they helped
me to understand that if you fight for your dreams, everything can be done, and I appreciate where I study
since it gives many opportunities and we have excellent teachers.

Laura Zambrano:

She studied at the district university a degree in basic education in English, undergraduate degrees in sports
training and the secretaría of education of Facatativa, She said that she worked in Argentina, she gives us
great advice which is to have several experiences, that we did not stay with just one activity, that we must
experiment more since we had many capacities.

Alejandra:

She studied social communication and journalism, she said that they prepared you to create new formats and
the previous ones so they did podcasts and others, on the other hand, there was organizational communication
that was the internal and external communication of a company that communicated with its employees and
clients.

My opinion about them is very good, the truth is I am quite happy since they are brave, wonderful, and
intelligent women, they like to make people happy and that is very good, they have fulfilled all their dreams.
I learned that everything I propose I must do regardless of what others think or say, I always have to find a
way to fulfill what I want.

This opportunity is a very good one that our teachers give us to meet people and learn about them since it
gives us the opportunity to know the experiences of others and their triumphs, they gave us a lot of advice
which left my life marked, just I know that I have to trust myself and my dreams because I am capable of
everything and I can make them come true.

In these forums, We heard some people talking about going ahead in life, and they wanted us to see people who are
already professionals and that they did not have it easy either that they had to live very hard battles to get to where
they are.
The person I chose is Angela Neira since her life was more interesting to me a lot since she said that she was a
professional designer, she had to go through many stages when she began to think about her studies, the first of which
was when she graduated From school, she received the news that she was going to become a mother at that moment,
she told us she had to think about her life and her son after all was getting ahead and the second stage was that she
was tired and as always she had a very different way of dealing with it in life, she said that she wanted to study design
since there are professionals in this career in her family.
In the second forum, Daniela Mosquera caught my attention since she also showed us that there was no disability that
stops us from our dreams, Daniela told us that she was a good student at school and she also said that when she left
the school she knew what she was going to do. She said that she chose special education because to train people
who are first of all human beings is really interesting and that it was very nice and that the career that she was studying
leaves her surprised because she also wanted to help people like her or with other disabilities, she also said that it was
very nice to help people to see life in a different way. She told us that there were no problems, that nothing is
impossible but everything is in the mind.
These two women left me with very great teaching that we must never give up on the first bad news.
I give them a thousand and a thousand thanks because they are a great example in my lifetime.
These forums are a great way of looking at life as they show us that life is not easy and that if we promise to get ahead
we can and that we have a good school that has always been present in our life projects.

The forum for me was a wonderful meeting where I could see a lot of previous experiences about people that were in the
same place as me right now.

Jorge Correa, UAN doctor: He told us that for him, her career was important since you could learn a lot of things as a
person since medicine is the care art.

Ana María Neiva Castro, modern languages: she said that the most important thing if you want to follow languages was to
be passionate about learning any language you want.

I think that all of the forum people had an excellent decision in her life and that's why they are where they are.

These people made me realize that if I want something I need to be focused and passionate and although when you start
and feel that it is so hard, you need to keep going and improve myself.

In both forums, I could learn about the forum people's life and how they could reach their dreams and I learnt that although I
have doubts and ignorance about what I will do if I just give time to time I will be able to know what it will be.

This forum is based on talking with some professionals and some former students, We were able to solve some doubts and
also learn more about some careers here in this space.

The guest I chose was Dr. Jorge Correa who studied pediatrics, he said that medicine was the art of prevention and care and
also the science of curing diseases, he also said that to study medicine you have to have love, respect, and responsibility for
Medicine.

The former student I chose was Alejandra Rivera. She said that she studied social communication and journalism. She chose
that career because before graduating she realized that she liked the radio thanks to a program in which he participated. He
told us that the most important thing in that career was to read and be very well informed at the business level.

My opinion is that they are people very focused on what they want, which from my point of view, they are an example to
follow since through what they told us, despite the difficulties, they continued.

What I learned in the two forums was that despite all the obstacles that you present in life, by overcoming them you will feel
very good, you have to improve yourself and know many things, take advantage of the opportunities that are presented to
you, and do not waste

The forum was didactic, interactive between professionals and some university SOFIA
students and eleventh-graders and teachers of the school. This forum was held in two
days and in each one there were several guests from different professions, who were
asked questions about their careers. They chose to answer in Spanish or English. The
purpose of the forum was to help eleventh-graders to prepare or ask themselves if
their intended career they wanted to study was what they really want or in which
career they can do well according to their likes or dreams.

Of the guests of august 26th, I´ll talk about some ideas of Jorge Correa. I chose him
because I liked his form of thinking, he said that he chose his career because in medicine
found many things that can be important to everyone and because it's the art of
preventing, assisting, curing, and caring of diseases. He said that we shouldn´t set
limits, because we all have the ability to know what we want and it's a decision that is
made during life and not suddenly.
Of the guests of august 27th, I´ll talk about some ideas of Daniela Mosquera. I chose SOFIA
her because she talked about her life and her experience of having a disability, which
shows that having a disability isn't a limit to studying what you want. She said that
friendship like those you had at school are unforgettable experiences because in
college or university you have a friendship but not as strong as those at school and
that you can know the lives of others by doing something totally different than what
she does.

My opinion of the people I talked about is that they are very kind, they know very well
what they want and how they want to do it, they see that they are sure about their
careers, despite the obstacles they have or had in their life; they keep fighting for
what they want and I feel that inspires me to keep fighting for what I want.

In general, this forum made me think about what I want to study, what I must do to
achieve my goals, not set limits because if it's what I really want to do I must fight for
it no matter that things get difficult and also that I must be more confident of myself.

It is an interactive (virtual) forum To learn, and and motivate ourselves to choose a career in
the future.

In the first forum on August 26, we had some professional guests who tell us about their
experiences:

Angela Neira: she studied graphic design, She talks about her experience as a child and how
much she loved to draw, the support she had from her teachers, and all the challenges she had
to face. She said that we should trust ourselves and strive for what we like.

The second forum was held on August 27 with some former students, Ana Neiva. said that she
had studied modern languages.She said that what motivated her was the opportunities to meet
new people and places.

Also she said that she looked for opportunities in Bogotá since she did not want to leave her
family, , she tells how she made an effort and the importance to have passion in what we do.
She said that if we did what we are passionate about, we will do it better and it will be
easier for us.

She also said that we could study more than one career if wanted and that she would
probably choose administration if she did not choose languages.

Well i think that the people interviewed that I mentioned earlier , wanted to show us
their experiences so that we are prepared for the future, and The importance of
following our dreams and doing what we are passionate about.

I learned that no matter the obstacles we have in the future, if we do what we are
passionate about and strive we will achieve our goals, we must trust ourselves,

IN SEARCH OF A BETTER TOMORROW

In this forum, they taught and explained to us that there is no obstacle to studying your professional career,
if you want to achieve something, fight for it and you will see that you can achieve it, was a beautiful forum, I
met people who had the best resources and managed to pursue their careers, like this: "Do not think that
there are impossible things to achieve your dreams", I liked learning about how beautiful the arts are,
medicine (even though medicine does not attract me) but listening to the doctor talking about how much he
is passionate about his career was great, the graphic design, it was NICE to inform me a little more about
each one of these careers

She gave some very good ideas to me, especially she managed to leave a great teaching and a very great
inspiration since, despite the fact that she said that she did not have enough resources, she also said that she
obtained a scholarship at the great Colombian polytechnic university and sustained her throughout her
career. Despite the fact that She had cancer, She never gave up, and although she had a son when she was
very young, she succeeded.

The ideas that most caught my attention were that sometimes you had the patience for a career from a very
young age but you does not always realize this, we must study what we are passionate about and not what
our parents and relatives want, also that we should not be the best in what we do but what is important is
what you are passionate about and know how to communicate it very well.

Mainly, the forum was held and divided into two days (August 26 and 27) and at different
times (10 am - 1 pm), as guests were three former students from the LAA school (Daniela
Mosquera, Alejandra Rivera, and Ana Marìa Neiva) and three professionals With different
careers (Àngela Neira, Laura Zambrano, Jorge Correa, and Sara Pinilla), the eleventh grades,
teachers, and directors were present.

In each of the forums, different experiences, situations, and learnings were discussed. But
they were aimed at a single goal.

It was very difficult for me to choose only one of the three so I decided to put three tips that
caught my attention because I know how important and the impact they could have on me:
When Laura and Angela said that they never stop doing what they like, what they love, what
made you happy and passionate about it;
Angela said that they should focus on learning and be curious, as you never stop learning.
And finally, Jorge said that you have to set goals to go very far. That there are no limits or
obstacles to fulfill our dreams, the limitations are set by yourself.

Basically, in each of the forums, the advice they give us calls my attention, so: Ana Maria said that you
must choose something that you are passionate about, that you love so that every day you help
anyone and make a difference.
Daniela said the important thing is that our life experience is always a reference and always give the
best of ourselves.

My opinion regarding the people that I have already mentioned above is:
They are people who are focused on building their destiny, who are clear about their objectives, but
who, like many of us, had to go through each of the unknowns and doubts that we create for ourselves
at a certain stage of our life.
The advice was something that greatly impacted what helps me to learn, what I feel I learned.
I learned that limitations are set by yourself, that when you want something with your heart, you get it.

In conclusion, these two forums not only helped me to show that there is nothing that prevents us from
being happy and not only the learning and advice that these wonders of people left us are those that
are taken into account, but each of the words and the time they took to remind us how happy a person
can be by chasing and fighting for what they want, love and passion for.

Words from professional people

So for the forum, were held two sessions, the first one the guests were a doctor, a primary teacher, an art teacher, and a
graphic designer, and on the second session, the guests were some former students that were a journalist, a special
education teacher, an architecture student, and a modern language teacher.

In both sessions, they started by introducing themselves, telling us who they were, what they made, and their
achievements, and then we asked them some questions like:why did you choose that career? Or what are the requirements
to perform that career etc.

From the first session, I’m gonna talk about Jorge Correa. He said that his studies were focused on the healthy, he said that
he studied at Antonio Nariño University, he said that from very young he always wanted to be a physician, he also said that
first, he wanted to be a surgeon.
From the second session, I’m gonna talk about Alejandra Rivera she said that she
chose social communication and journalism, she said that in that career they prepare
you for the new digital journalism and create new formats, she said that the needed
abilities for journalism are that you have to read a LOT, and also be so informed from
the local and from the outside world as well.

In my opinion, both seem to be very dedicated people that worked very hard to reach
their dreams and do what they like to do with love and passion and working hard to
reach their goals.

From them I could learn, you must keep on working hard to get what you want.

In conclusion, the forum was very interesting to know about some professional people
and how they managed to get where they are currently, it’s pretty nice, it’s also
something that will help you in your future, thanks to it now I know that you must do
what you like and what you feel, and that you must work very hard to get it, also
knowing what are you good at.

There isn't a guide, just different experiences about future

I'll write my opinion about the forum what we had, this forum was
26 and 27 of august, where we interactive with university
students and english teachers, we talked about the future, the
experiences that the university students had through their lives
after graduating from school.

I’ll express some ideas of Angela. She studied graphic design in

politecnico grancolombiano. So I chose her mainly for the career
she study because they catch my attention a lot. she said she
chose this career because she love draw since she was a child,
she said graphic design is very broad so have many ways to to
support themselves financially, so it really is not a career where
you are not well financed.

I chose Maria to speak about the forum of 27, she studies

languages. She said she got to meet many people from
different parts of the world thanks her career. She said she
want to learn mandarin and also she want to live in
Germany at the future.

Regarding the forum participants, I think they are incredible

people for the fact of following what they want and with
effort to achieve many goals in their lives and not stagnate
as many people do.

Finally, it seems to me a pretty good forum, in my case the

fact that they share their experiences solved some doubts
that I had and a half a bit of confidence to contain my future.

The forum on August 26 and 27 gave the students the opportunity to know the
stories of other people in their work life and their preparation, the students had
the opportunity to ask questions to the guests, solve doubts and know little
more about the lives of these students and professionals

In the forum, different people spoke to us to guide us on what we want to do in

our life, based ontheir own experience one of them was Alejandra zanbrano, she
has a degree in basic education with an emphasis in English at the district
university,She said that she studied a degree in sports training, Alejandra said
that she loved everything tha thad to do with the visual and that is why she was
always very clear about what she wanted to study

One of the guest was Alejandra Rivera, she studied modern languages, she said
that she was passionate about traveling, learning about new cultures and trying
a different gastronomy, she said that she would like to live in Germany, she said
that she had been working in several call centers, she is currently leading a
female empowerment Project

AND ME, WHEN??

This forum was divided into two parts, the first part was with different
professionals and the other part with former students from the school. All of
them told us about their careers and this motivated us to continue studying.

The professional I chose was Angela Neira, a relative of the English teacher
Janeth Neira. She said she studied at the Politecnico Gran Colombiano, she
said she studied graphic design. She said that from a very young age she
loved to paint and draw; She also said that in college she learned not only to
draw but also very important concepts in her career. She also said that she
had very strong challenges but that she had the help of the university and
her family. Finally, she said that the final result was a successful career.
Ana María Neiva is the girl I chose from the second forum. She is the
granddaughter of the previous rector. She said that she chose modern
languages because she liked and loved languages, she also said that this
career opens doors for us in many places, she said that it helped her to
connect with other people around the world and thus be able to know other
cultures, she also said that the career was focused on administration and
business.

From these girls I learned to improve myself, to know my true tastes and
passions, to be creative and ingenious; understand people either in gestures
in expressions, or in dialogue; to relate in a good way and not be
disrespectful.

I learned from everyone to never give up, to continue fighting for what I
want and desire, not to stay on the road but to reach the end.

MERAKI PROJECT: AN OPPORTUNITY TO FIGURE OUT ABOUT WHAT WE WANT

The forum is a meeting about the Meraki project. It brings people from different situations and professions to guide
us, therefore to be able to have a better performance in our life project and the page at the same time.

I will talk about Laura Zambrano she studied sport training, she said that her mom was a teacher and she grew up
in a school environment, she loved being with her mother while she was teaching, she said that she chose that
career because she loves teach, and she said that the more important about you choosing a career is that you must
be sure about that career

I am gonna talk about Alejandra Rivera,she studied social communication and journalist she said that you had to
explain to the people about a topic in just one minute you have to be very effective in that information, also she said
that we have to be responsible about we communicate to the people, you have to be very assertive, and neutral.

I think that they are people that were focused about they wanted to do therefore they achieved that, and actually
they are doing something they wanted to do, I learnt from them that you have to know what you want and act
according to this, and also that we have to be committed too, if you didn't do this you would never got something.

In conclusion I learnt that we have to decide for something due that if we don’t choose anything we are gonna to
have anything but also we have to be sure about what we chose if we aren’t sure of what we chose we are making a
mistake because we will do something we don’t want !

Life examples

In both forums, they left us several learnings and teachings, since in the first one the professionals spoke directly to us, that they have
lived a life with efforts, fulfilling their goals little by little, and in the second, those students who give us an example of seeing how
leaving our LAA school we can fulfill ourselves as people and professionals.

One of the professionals interviewed on Wednesday, August 26, who most caught my attention was Dr. Camilo.
He told us from his own experience, how it emerged in his career. He said that he felt happy with what he did, his motivation was to
help others and be better every day.

Who seemed like a great guest to the forum on Thursday, August 27, was Alejandra Rivera She told us that she felt very happy
studying social communication and journalism She said that she had loved journalism because of a radio program she attended when
she was in the ninth grade. She also said that she liked the subject of companies and therefore also studies organizational
communication.
Besides, she is also a lifelong neighbor and a great person along with her family.

My opinion about the participants is that they spoke in a way that led us to think, analyze, and look to the future. They also talked about
their experiences and talked to us at the same time.

In conclusion, I can say that I found it a very beautiful experience, I felt comfortable and we learned various topics, also the way in
which we will soon go out to a new world with the freedom and autonomy to do what we want and even more when we have so many
dreams and goals to fulfill.

My True Future

The forum has interesting, iteractive with university students, professionals

and teachers of the school,This forum took place in two days in which I only
attended one, but in the forum that I was I found it very interesting that they
talk about their careers and personal experiences I believe that in the forum
they were able to help and made the students understand that nothing is easy
and it takes a lot of effort to achieve our dreams

In the forum, Ana Maria Neiva she studied modern languages and she work
in al call center she said that it was not easy but in the end she made it, I think
she is a person very intelligent and strong.

I think that the forums is a good idea since it helps us think a lot about what
we want for our future and to have an example that if it is possible to get
ahead studying something that we really like and that draws our attention

What I plan to do with my future is make an effort to get into the university I
want to study medicine and specialize in another country so I can become a
great doctor and I would also like to study sports and fulfill my biggest
dreams

In the forum they talked about the careers chosen by the guests, the told us why the
chose those careers, the experiences they spent studying these careers.
Through virtual meeting we were able to interact with the quests, some colleagues also
asked them served questions about the career that each one had choses

The forum that was held on August 26, the guests told us very motivating words
which one of the quests said we should study the career that we would like to love,
Angela Neira she was one of the most interesting girls since despite everything she
has to go through she got ahead.

The forum discussed the careers chosen by the guests, how they were in their careers,
what they went through in choosing those careers, what experience seemed to them,
through virtual meetings, and interacting with the guests with questions about the
subjects

In the forum of the 26 august, Angela Neira She said that we should study the career we
love and like, she said that how that devalued profession decided to study, she said how
his profession affected us in everyday life, she said that she thought of choosing another
career different to graphic design.

The most interesting guest to the forum was Alejandra Rivera, she decided to study
something she had no experience in the school, she decided to study social
communication and she said that most of her classmates with who she studied this
career, had decided for the school radio station in their schools but she said there was no
radio station at our school, she advised us to study what we would like and she said that
we should study more than one career, she said that right now we had more than one
opportunity to study a career.

I liked both forums because they showed different sides to choosing a career.
After all, while Alejandra feels good to have chosen the career of social
communication, Angela was so happy to have chosen hers, but sometimes she
has thought about choosing another career because the graphic design is not
very well paid.

In conclusion, to choose a career I must see that such is to find a good job, as
well as I must see that this within what I like.
 SANTIAGO MY FORUM LEARNING

In the two forums, they made us know about our potential to be able to apply it in our future, they helped us to find
what we like and know what to do with our lives, they guided us with their life stories as an example.

In the first forum, I identified myself with Ángela Neira.

She said that she studied graphic design, which I would like to study too along with gastronomy.
She said that her career had many areas and decided to specialize in design pedagogy.

In the second forum, Ana Maria Neiva. She said she studied modern languages.She also said that she had worked in a
call center, she said that it was not easy at first but then she got used to it.

I admired Ángela Neira a lot since she had a very difficult life and yet she was able to get ahead no matter what, from
her, I learned to cope with life and do what I like, and from Ana Maria Neiva I think she is a person very intelligent and
capable, from her I learned to look more deeply about what I am going to do with my future and get better job
opportunities.

I think the work they show us in the forums is a very good idea since they help us to open up our capacities more and
also to look for our purposes for our future.

YOUR FUTURE
Two forums were made, the first 26TH, in where we attend with some professionals, they spoke about the
career and experiences in your personal and lanoral life; the 27TH, it was the other forum, in where some
guests, some former student talked about how to become professionals, also they spoke about some
experiences in their personal and laboral life; in the two forums we were able to ask several questions
and get out of some doubts. The professionals and ex-students gave us several tips to apply when we
start and finish our life project.
Angela Neira attend the forum of 26th, she was the one who
studied graphic design and she caught my attention because the
career she choose does not develop very good in Colombian and
she she said that several things about her personal life, some of
them were she was a mom in eleventh grade but she was going
forward with her son,also she told that she had cancer and she
said that it was a very hard stage but she handled it to win, in
this moment she said that one
debility was that she mistrusts her talent and she was scared because because she thought it was not
good enough. Respect of your career, some people told her that graphic design was very undervalued
and didn’t produce economically good but she replied that she believes it is lack of knowledge about this

very complicated but not impossible, she also said that is a question of getting into something deeper
to be able to earn much more; also, she said that to the future the medicine is very indispensable but
also the technology is a career very necessary in the future.

In the second part of the forum Alejandra Rivera attend of this; she said that she was a student at school
laa, she was studying social communication and journalism, she was very interesting because she spoke
about her career since they prepare herself for digital journalism, she said that the purpose was to
prepare new formats. Alejandra let us know that in the future she will be already graduated of her
university, her greatest motivation said that it was to deepend in the radio and also she said that we
should start our project life with three questions as What do i like? What am i good? and What makes me
happy?.

I think Angela is very strong because of the decisions she made

in her life; i learned to face the consequences of our decisions
and i think Alejandra is a persistent person; i learned to strive me
for my future.
I learned never be conformism and forever comply my goals and i like that teachers did these forums
because it was interesting the orientation for us, teenagers.

The forum was a meeting about the Meraki project. It brought people from different situations and professions to
guide us, therefore to be able to have a better performance in our life project and the page at the same time.

I will talk about Angela Neira she studied graphic design, at the Gran Colombian Polytechnic, she said that it was a
career that enchanted her, she discovered from a very young age that she loved to draw everything that was related to
the visual, she also said that in the career she understood that is was not only to grow but to understand
concepts.She had good teachers, she learned a lot from the practice, it was excellent for her and finally, she said the
had many great challenges.

I will talk about Daniela Mosquera who was in the former students forum. She said that she had 4 reference teachers,
she said that teacher Hilda encouraged her to study special education, just because she shared with the teacher from
a very young age.

My opinion of the guests is that they are really amazing because they have great careers, futures and that they follow
with their dreams until they get them. I learned from them that you never have to give up and you have to follow
through on your dreams.

I thought it was cool; the two forums were a lot of fun. I learned from the two forums, that we have to move forward to
achieve our goals and never surrounded.

The objective of the forum was to help us, students, to learn more about certain careers and apart from that to know the

I chose Angela, she told us that from a very young age she had chosen her career since what she liked the most was drawing and most of
her family had an approach to graphic design. He also left us a piece of advice that was that we should do what we like, what we are
passionate about, that we do not let others decide for us, and that we learn a lot that we do not settle for being curious.

In the second forum, I chose ana maria, She said that she studied languages since it is a career that opens many doors and also says that I
help her to get to know other cultures and people.

She also said that the most difficult language for her was German. She said she was going to study Italian since he would like to live there.

I think that they are great people who are too intelligent and very capable and from them, I learned that we are all able to achieve what we
want regardless of the difficulties

My opinion is that they were people who could clarify any questions that also gave us a basis for where you could focus to be able to choose
well what we want to study, what caught my attention was what Angela said and it was that we studied something that we will be passionate
about and whatever will be their advice, I will follow it.

 A GUIDE FOR THE FUTURE

In the forum 4 the future, there were invited some students who already got graduated from our school and are working or at
the university.
They were asked some questions by the moderators and also by the students and they answered, the forum was based as a guide
for us when we study at the university.

From the first forum, I chose Angela, she was a professional, graphic designer.
She said that the key to studying graphic design was to always be creative with a very open mind and to risk doing new things;
someone asked her what her weakness was in doing her work and she said that her weakness was not trusting herself and what
she did.
She got a scholarship and managed to keep it until the last semester, she said that all semester she had many works but it didn't
matter because that's what she liked.

For our forum, the second one, my attention was drawn to the former student Ana Maria, she studied languages, she studied
German, Italian and English.
She said that she wanted to meet people around the world and their cultures, she also said that she wanted to live in Italy, she is
currently working with airlines around the world.
The main thing I learned from them is that I should study something that I like, that I am passionate about and something that I am
good at, also to be creative, I should also learn how to relate to people.
According to what they said in the forum, I can only add that their effort and dedication is noticeable because that's why they are
at the point they are, they seem to be very intelligent and above all sure of everything they said they had achieved, they are
people to admire!

About the two sessions of the forum, I really learned that I have to fight for what I want to be in the future, I also learned that I
have to search, investigate and think very well about what I want to study and have a plan b in case things don't work out.
The forum was very well done, I liked very much everything that the guests responded, their sincerity and above all, I am very
grateful for the guidance they gave us to have a little bit of a go about how our future will be.
