This chapter presents the research design, respondents, instruments and data
Research Design
This research study will utilize a qualitative method of research design. It will discuss
and describe the present study in which interviews and existing documents will form a
conclusion from the gathered data. Our task as researchers is to understand how
shopping experience.
Sampling Procedure
The research will employ quota sampling in choosing the participants of the study.
Since the researchers need certain characteristics of participants, this method really fits
in. Researchers chose this sampling procedure because the target participants should
be online shoppers.
The participants of this study will be the students and teachers exclusive only in
Tanza National Comprehensive High School and Tanza Senior High School who
already experienced to shop online and are willing to participate in the research study.
Research Instrument
The researchers will utilize interview questions and provide a set of questionnaires
for the survey checklist. It covers the set of questions regarding the online shoppers’
experiences and their satisfaction. A smart phone and sound recorder will be used for
the interview.
Permission from the school principal will sought before conducting this
phenomenological research study. All the data will be collected by the researcher and
will utilize a procedural pattern in order to easily gather the information. The respondent
will be given questionnaires and survey checklist. Documentation of the whole data
gathering procedure will take place throughout the process with the participants
approval.
Data Analysis
identifying, categorizing and tabulating the memos, themes and codes of the data
