Appointment of 2020-21 Assistant Prefect (Grade XI)

Nomination Form
Selection Procedure:
1. The school invites nominations from interested students.
2. Filled in nomination forms (Word Document Only) to be emailed by the student to the
class teacher with the parent’s consent letter, which should specifically mention and
certify that the student satisfies the First criteria given below. (which will be further
verified by the class teacher)
3. Last date of submission is on Saturday, 13th June 2020.
4. Based on the eligibility criteria, the Class Teachers will scrutinize the nominations
and award marks.
5. 50 (approx.) a list of qualified candidates (ranked and chosen according to marks
received) will be published on Monday, 15th June 2020.
6. Election will be held on Tuesday, 16th June 2020, for the qualified candidates.
7. Each student of XI can cast votes for 10 candidates.
8. According to the number of votes won by them, the names of First 30 candidates will
be announced on Wednesday 17th June 2020, who will join the Prefect Board as
Assistant Prefects, after final approval by the Principal.

Minimum Eligibility criteria for submitting Nomination:

1. The candidate must have passed all subjects in the First Mock Exam (Admission test)
of his/her X grade. Absentee case for First Mock will be given due consideration by
the Class Teacher. (10 Marks)
2. Character to be endorsed by 2 teachers - one previous class teacher and one subject
teacher, from Grade 9th or 10th. ( 2 Marks)
3. Participation in any extracurricular activity -Sport, Art, Cultural activities, Public
Speaking, Debating etc. ( 1 Mark for each different field)
4. Scholastic/Academic certificates for events like Olympiad/Asset/Acer exams or Quiz
(like Math or G K etc.) ( 1 Mark for each different field)
5. Membership of Eco club, Gavels club or Scouts/Guide etc. ( 1 Mark for each different
field)

General Rule: Candidates must be available for relevant school functions/programs.

Note:
1. Number of certificates in the same field will not earn more marks.
2. Copies of Documents to prove eligibility criteria 3 to 5 must be scanned and emailed
to the Class Teacher on or before 13th June 2020, positively.
