D. Drama
In literature, a drama is the portrayal of fictional or non-fictional events
through the performance of written dialog (either prose or poetry). Dramas can
be performed on stage, on film, or the radio. Dramas are typically called plays,
and their creators are known as “playwrights” or “dramatists” (Longley, 2019).
1. Literary elements of drama
Research on the six elements of drama according to Aristotle and list
them down on the box below.

 PLOT – the plot, then, is the first principle, and, as it were, the soul of a tragedy.
You are not just selling a product, a service, or an idea. Take your audience on a
journey and keep them engaged.

 CHARACTER – is that which reveals moral purpose, showing what kind of

things a man chooses or avoids. Who is the hero of your story? You? Your
audience? Your customers? Give your readers or viewers a protagonist to root for.

 THOUGHT – is the faculty of saying what is possible and pertinent in given

circumstances. What is the moral or theme of your content? By engaging with it
what is it telling your audience about itself? Create positive associations with your
brand.

 DICTION – the expression of the meaning in words; and its essence is the same
both in verse and prose. The smallest details are important, all the way down to
word choice, tone, voice, and clarity. This has become especially important as
more video is being used on every platform.

 MUSIC – song holds the chief place among embellishments. Your video content
will not be complete without music. Clear sound and music will give your videos
a professional feel.

 SPECTACLE – an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the
least artistic. Be memorable! Wow your audience with expertly created content
and judiciously applied bells and whistles.

2. Complete the following diagram by placing the stage of plot structure

on their proper location.
