CHARCOAL

CARSURIN, appointed by several major Carriers, helps

to reduce risk of fire onboard through a program of
factory audit and verification for charcoal and activated
carbon producers/suppliers by performing:

• Factory Audit (Primary) – An in-depth supplier

qualification audit performed every three years.
• Factory Audit (Surveillance) – A routine supplier
monitoring audit performed annually in between
primary audits.
• Pre-Shipment Inspection – Verification, vanning
survey and sample testing of individual
containers by shipment. Representative samples
will be tested in CARSURIN laboratories in
accordance with ASTM and IMDG standards.
SNI CONFORMITY ASSESSMENT
As a Product Certification Body (LSPro)

Accredited to ISO 17065 by the National Accreditation Committee (KAN), having the expertise to conduct the entire process of
product conformity assessment, for the scope of products accredited by the Minister of Industry and registered in the Ministry
of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia to

(1) Conduct the product certification process to issue product certification on using SNI marking,

(2) Issue the SPPT-SNI accordance with the Government regulations related to SNI for specific products.
