There are many elements that define a lifestyle, including one’s

surroundings. While some like the peaceful, sedentary life of a quiet
neighbourhood, others prefer the fast-paced, business-oriented
lifestyle found in cities. Both options have pros and cons, especially
in terms of economics, which is why I would choose a city life over
country life.
The main reason city life seems more appealing at a is the career
opportunities it affords one. A city dweller has more choices when it
comes to work, a greater pool of professionals with whom to network,
and a greater target market with which to conduct business. The
countryside, on the other hand, is limited in this scope. Of course, one
can argue that the internet has made global work possible from
anywhere, yet this does not address the fact that in some cultures a
deal is not complete until the parties involved shake hands on it. Thus,
being physically isolated from the market can potentially hamper
one’s professional success.
The city life may provide me with assistance much more easily than a
life in a rural neighbourhood, more reasons would be, we can easily
purchase our daily necessities online and have them delivered to us in
the same day or usually the next day, we can get brand new
technology right as they come out without having to wait a few extra
days while they get imported to our neighbourhood store, though
there are a few disadvantages to city life, such as, it is noisy all day
and night due to how busy the city is, and the air is greatly polluted in
the city compared to a quiet neighbourhood.
On the other hand, a quiet neighbourhood offers a more peaceful
lifestyle away from the rat race of the city. One can connect with
nature, get to know one’s neighbours, and generally enjoy a healthy,
quiet, and less expensive existence. One does not have to deal with
traffic, noise and air pollution, or competition for space, commodities,
or jobs. Urban living, conversely, demands constant action and
expenditures, especially for appearances. Those who choose a rural
lifestyle, meanwhile, are generally content with simpler, and
consequently cheaper, material items and do not need a new car every
other year or a glamourous gown for a night out. As such, it seems a
perfect fit for retirement, when one would rather sit on the porch
listening to crickets than in an apartment with the blare of sirens
outside.

All in all, I prefer the city life over the quiet neighbourhood life,
though I would love to visit a quiet neighbourhood during vacations
to enjoy the advantages it provides us.
