COUNTER AFFIDAVIT

I, EDITHA CAJEGAS, of legal age, Filipino, and a resident of Sambog, Corella,

Bohol after being sworn to in accordance with law, hereby depose and state:

1)That I am the person who is charged with Treason before the Office of the
Prosecutor of Tagbilaran City docketed under Case No. 12345 for the crime of Treason under
Article 114 of the Revised Penal Code;

2)That I vehemently deny paragraph 3 of the Sworn Statement of SPO2

Jumawan, the truth being that:

a) At about 3:45 in the morning on January 29, 2020, I received a call from my
previous employer in Beijing, China telling me that my ward is in Bohol and was
gravely injured after having fought some robbers in his house in San Isidro,
Tagbilaran City;

b) That the said robbery was duly blottered at the Tagbilaran City Police Station
under Exhibit A;

c) That I still cared for my ward being his nanny for five years in China, I offered him
aid when he came to my house but it was not a Chinese Military Vehicle but merely
his midnight black Range Rover;

d) That I took them in my house because my son was a nurse and could tend to his
wound on his right leg which needed immediate medical attention;

3) That I also vehemently deny paragraph 15 of the Sworn Statement of SPO2

Jumawan, the truth being that my ward and his friends are not Chinese military but are
Chinese civilians who are on a vacation;

4) That paragraph 1 of the Sworn Statement is false in that there is no war between
China and the Philippines;

5) And that the aid which I gave my Chinese ward is not an act which could weaken
the Philippines' security but merely to help for my ward who I took care of for five years of my
life;

6) Considering the foregoing, I respectfully pray that I be acquitted of the crime of

TREASON under Article 114 of the Revised Penal Code, wrongfully imputed upon me by
SPO2 Jumawan.
 TO THE TRUTH OF THE FOREGOING, I have signed this Counter Affidavit on
February 14, 2020.
