RELATIONSHIP OF THE PENMANSHIP AND ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE OF

SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Statement of the Problem

This study aims to know the relationship of the penmanship and the academic

performance of the students during the first semester of the academic year 2019-

2020 at Dee Hwa Liong Academy.

Specifically, the study sought to answer the following questions:

1. What is the equivalent grade of the Grade 12 ABM, HUMSS, HE, ICT and

STEM students to their notebook with regard to the following criteria:

a) Letter Formation;

b) Usage;

c) Sizing;

d) Line Awareness;

e) Neatness?

2. Is there a significant difference between the equivalent grade of the Grade 12

ABM, HUMSS, HE, ICT and STEM students to their notebook with regard to the

aforementioned criteria?

3. What is the significant difference between the equivalent grade of the Grade

12 ABM, HUMSS, HE, ICT, and STEM students to their notebook according to their

gender?

4. Is there a significant relationship between the equivalent grade of the Grade

12 Senior High School students to their notebook and to their general weighted

average during midterm of the academic year 2019-2020?

AWARENESS OF SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND TEACHERS ON THE

RELIABLE WEB-SOURCES IN THE INTERNET

Statement of the Problem

This study aims to determine the degree of awareness of senior high school

students and teachers on the reliable web-sources in the internet during the first

semester of the academic year 2019-2020 at Dee Hwa Liong Academy.

Specifically, the sought to answer the following questions:

1. What is the degree of awareness of Senior High School Students and

Teachers on the reliability of a web-sources in terms of the following criteria:

a) Accuracy;

b) Credibility;

c) Quality; and

d) Currency?

2. Is there a significant difference between the degree of awareness of

Senior High School Students and Teachers on the reliability of a web-sources with

regard to the aforementioned criteria?

3. What is the significant difference between the degree of awareness of

Senior High School Students and Teachers on the reliability of a web-sources

according to their gender?

4. What is the significant difference between the degree of awareness of

Senior High School Students and Teachers on the reliability of a web-sources

according to their age?

RELATIONSHIP OF COMPUTER GAMING TO THE ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE

OF STUDENTS

Statement of the Problem

This study aims to know the relationship of computer gaming to the academic

performance of the students during the first semester of the academic year 2019-

2020 at Dee Hwa Liong Academy.

Specifically, the study sought to answer the following questions:

1. Is there a significant difference between the average hours spent by the

female and male students in computer gaming?

2. Is there a significant difference between the general weighted average of the

gamer and non-gamer students?

3. Is there a significant relationship between the average hours spent by the

students in computer gaming and to their academic performance?

Statement of the Problem

This study aims to know the platform and genre preferences of senior high

school students and teachers during the first semester of the academic year 2019-

2020 at Dee Hwa Liong Academy.

Specifically, the study sought to answer the following questions:

1. What are the platform and genre preference of senior high school students

and teachers in video gaming?

2. Is there an association between the platform preference of senior high school

students and teachers in video gaming to their gender?

3. Is there an association between the platform preference of senior high school

students and teachers in video gaming to their age?

4. Is there an association between the genre preference of senior high school

students and teachers in video gaming to their gender?

5. Is there an association between the genre preference of senior high school

students and teachers in video gaming to their age?

Statement of the Problem

This study aims to know the perceptions of senior high school students and

teachers on the reliability of information from the internet during the first semester of

the academic year 2019-2020 at Dee Hwa Liong Academy.

Specifically, the study sought to answer the following questions:

1. What is the profile of the respondents in terms of:

a) Gender;

b) Age; and

c) Educational Attainment?

2. What are the perceptions of the senior high school students and teachers on

determining how reliable an information from the internet is?

3. Is there an association between the perception of senior high school students

and teachers on determining how reliable an information from the internet is and to

their gender?

4. Is there an association between the perception of senior high school students

and teachers on determining how reliable an information from the internet is and to

their age?
5. Is there an association between the perception of senior high school students

and teachers on determining how reliable an information from the internet is and to

their educational attainment?

Statement of the Problem

This study aims to know the perceptions of senior high school students and

the academic year 2019-2020 at Dee Hwa Liong Academy.

Specifically, the study sought to answer the following questions:

1. What is the evaluation of Senior High School Students and Teachers on the

developed 3D map of Dee Hwa Liong Academy in terms of the following

criteria:

a) C1;

b) C2;

c) C3

2. Is there a significant difference between the evaluation of Senior High School

Students and Teachers on the developed 3D map of Dee Hwa Liong Academy with

regard to the aforementioned criteria?


3. What are the comments and suggestions will be offered by the Senior High

School Students and Teachers to further improve the developed 3D Map of Dee

Hwa Liong Academy?
