This Service Bulletin provides you with instructions on how to install the fuel pipe for EX1200-5C
and -5D.

Thoroughly read the safety section in the service manual before starting the work to ensure safe operation.
Welding work, if any, should only be done by qualified welders.

2-1 Drilling an additional hole in the main frame

Before drilling an additional hole, protect the surrounding parts such as electric wires to prevent
damage to them.
Drill an additional hole in the main frame as shown in Fig. 1.

Remove the standard covers that are installed on (01), (08), (32) and the standard plug that is
installed on (13) as shown in Fig. 2.
Assemble the parts obtained in step 1-1 (listed on table 1 on p. 2) to the locations shown in Fig. 2.
Parts numbers shown in Fig. 2 are identical to the item numbers used in table 1 (on p. 2).
To install covers (01), (08) and (32), reuse the standard cover mounting bolts.
Once (01), (08), (13) and (32) have been installed, scrap the standard covers and plugs that are
no longer required.
