AFFIDAVIT of WITNESS

I, JANE PALMA, Filipino, of legal age, widow and resident of Sunshine

Village, Block II, Banica, Roxas City after having duly sworn to in accordance
with law, voluntary depose and say:
1. That, JOE MARI PALMA is my son;
2. That I have known LOURDES BAARDE way back in 2016 when she still
works with the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Roxas City;

3. Sometime in March, 2017 she called me up and invited me to come over to

her office in Mint Spa, located in San Roque Extension, Roxas City for her to
discuss a business venture. She informed me to bring some of my family
members who is willing to venture in her business called FOREX which she
will discuss to us;

4. I decided to bring my son, JOE MARI A. PALMA and sister, JULIE

BARAQUIA and met her up in her office in Mint Spa, San Roque Ext.,
Roxas City on March 25, 2017 around 3:00 o’clock in the afternoon. Lourdes
and a lady were having a conversation, when we arrived at Mint Spa. She
approached us and introduced to us the lady to be GERLINSKI
TOLENTINO. She told us that Gerlinski is her associate and will discuss to
us the details of the FOREX investment;

5. GERLINSKI TOLENTINO then invited us to sit on the sofa and get

comfortable so we can talk about FOREX. Gerlinski told us the details of the
investment, that if we will invest a certain amount with them it will earn a
guaranteed interest of 20% per month until duedate. Further, she informed us
that they have a promo which will last on the next day which will incur an
additional 5% interest;

6. Moreover, to relieve us from our worries, Lourdes Baarde assured us that as a

guarantee of our money and the interest we will earn she will issue a check;

7. Lourdes then informed us sometime that in April, 2017 they will be holding a
business symposium so that we will know better on how to manage our
money and how really the FOREX works;

8. Sometime in April, 2017, I, ,my son JOE MARI PALMA and sister JULIE
BARAQUIA attended the business symposium at El Circulo Convention
 Center, Pueblo de Panay, Roxas City. Lourdes and Gerlinski introduced us
their other business associates namely JOEL DOMAYAN, RACHEL
CHAVEZ and REBECCA VENTURADO alias “Baby”. The three came
from Manila according to Lourdes. In the said symposium, Joel Domayan,
Rachel Chavez and Rebecca Venturado alias “BABY” discussed that
FOREX is their corporation involved in foreign exchange, how the FOREX
works, how it earns and how and we will earn. They all enticed us to join and
invest with their company;

9. That, first week of March, 2018 Lourdes Baarde called me and informed me
of their corporation’s new promo, she asked me if she can talk to son JOE
MARI PALMA to invite him. I gave the phone to my son and they talked
over the phone;

10. That my son went to Mint Spa on March 18, 2018 and invested the money
her sister lent him to FOREX. That I have known this because I went with
him at Mint Spa and I have seen him handed the amount of FOUR
HUNDRED THOUSAND PESOS (P400,000) Philippine Currency to
Lourdes Baarde and in return Lourdes gave him a post dated check;

11. I am executing this affidavit for all legal intents and purposes and the same
was made according to our own free will and volition.
