Additions included in this release of Blastware:

1) Flex™ Mode:
(This option is not available on units with a serial number below 6000):
Flex is a pre-defined setup for channels to operate with a combination of
standard/alternative sensors such as accelerometers, crack extensometers, temperature
sensors, or humidity sensors.
2) Synthetic Waveform Tools:
(Note: These are modeling tools only. Results will vary depending upon site
particularities including geology, and explosives type, among other factors):
a) Linear Superposition
b) Interval Analysis
3) Edit Timeline:
Configure timelines to appear in the Wave Analysis Window or for use within the Linear
Superposition tool.
4) Human Exposure:
Calculate frequency-weighted Vibration Dosage Value (VDV) and Root Mean Square
(RMS) of acceleration on the entire or partially selected waveform.
5) Human Exposure Report:
Calculate frequency-weighted Vibration Dosage Value (VDV) and Root Mean Square
(RMS) of acceleration on a series of Events selected in the Event Manager.
6) Copy Report to Clipboard:
A bitmap image of an open report (Event, FFT, or Analysis) is copied to the computers
temporary memory. Use another Windows program that supports graphics and use the
paste command, or simultaneously press CTRL-V, to place the bitmap image into the file.
7) Export Data:
Use Export Data to copy data from each channel of the Event to another program, such
as Microsoft Excel.
8) Setup Text Report for Database – Auto Call Home:
If you would like to generate text, XML, or metafile copies of your reports, use the ‘Setup
Text Report for Database’ command within Auto Call Home.
9) Represent Histogram Using Lines:
Display histogram results as lines, instead of bars.
10) User-defined Confidence Level in Scaled Distance Plot:
Define the Confidence Level within the Scaled Distance tool.
11) Set Unit Time with Setup:
Synchronize the Unit clock with the personal computer clock when loading a setup.
12) Output File Name – ASCII:
You can change the name of the ASCII file to a name of your choice. The default name is
ASCII.txt. Note: Converting multiple files without changing the output file name results in
each ASCII output file overwriting the last converted file. Add a prefix or append a letter to
the files to avoid this.
13) Event Report Dates:
The original date and the date an Event was processed are saved in the report.
14) Report Options – Data Display Tab:
Remove or add Peak Vector Sum (PVS) on the Event Report.
15) PVS (Peak Vector Sum) Cell Phone Page available in Blastware Mail:
Cell phone users can automatically receive the subject of the Event (e.g. BE6412 Nov
24 /00 2:55:55 PM), and the PVS.
16) Import 2DBENCH text file as timelines:
If you have a 2DBench blast design file (*_mic.txt file extension) created with JKTech Pty.
Ltd., JKSimBlast software, you can import the file and edit or apply the resulting timeline
to an analysis event or Superposition synthetic waveform.
17) Compatibility with the Instantel DIN Standard Triaxial Geophone (part no. 718A3301).
