Assignment - BPA for a Business Case

Business Process Analysis for a Business Case

Specifications
1. Select a real organization and analyse its existing business processes, challenges faced
and how decision is made at the different management levels

2. Do a business process analysis (BPA) for the organization. You should use BPMN 2.0 for
modelling AS-IS and TO-BE

3. Propose Enterprise System(s) for the organization. Your solution may involve one ES or
different connected ES (e.g ERP connected to a CRM). You can also include any existing
legacy system to be connected. No ES implementation is required.

Number of students: 3-5 (to be decided by tutor)

Deadline: Week 8

Late Submission: Penalty of 10% will be applied for each working day up to a maximum of
10 days where the assignment will no more deemed to be receivable.

Deliverables:
o Mode of Presentation to be communicated by tutor

o Group Report ( with clear indication of personal contribution of each member)

o Report to be submitted before start of presentation

Assessment Criteria (assessed individually)

 Technical Skill mastery


o Ability to do BPA. Evaluating ES(s) and related modules

o Model the TO-BE business process with value added services based on ODOO
business process support

o Compare your “to be” process diagram with the “as is” process diagram you
developed
o Identify the extent to which your diagram solved the information sharing and
business process problems you identified earlier.
o Identify Gaps between AS-IS and TO-BE
