Gypsum Plasterboard (Seamless Finish)

1) Ceiling Legend – 9.5mm thick USG BORAL Unispan Gypsum Plasterboard with USG Boral
Ceiling Batten (For Ceiling drop not more than 1500mm)

USG BORAL suspended ceiling system comprising of 9.5mm thick USG BORAL Unispan
Gypsum Plasterboard (Size: 1220mm x 2440mm) with staggered joints screw fixed onto USG
BORAL ceiling batten (Size: 30mm x 12mm x 0.35mm B.M.T) at 900mm c/c for primary
members, 406mm c/c for secondary members. Board’s surface to be flushed finish according
ASTM C475/C475M by using 50mm width USG BORAL Perforated Paper Tape and USG
BORAL Premium Premix jointing compound, all fixed in accordance to manufacturer's
instruction and recommendation. (For ceiling not more than 3.50 meters height).

Indicative Supply & Installed Rate: RM32.50 / m2

2. Extra Over for USG BORAL Access Panel come with the aluminium trimming provided at
along the perimeter of the access board and also the necessary USG BORAL framing to hold
the access panel (Size: 600mm x 600mm).

Plasterboard with USG Boral Ceiling Batten (For Ceiling drop not more than 1500mm)

USG BORAL suspended ceiling system comprising of 9.5mm thick USG BORAL Wetstop
Moisture Resistant Gypsum Plasterboard (Size: 1220mm x 2440mm) with staggered joints
screw fixed onto USG Boral ceiling batten (Size: 30mm x 12mm x 0.35mm B.M.T) at
1200mm c/c for primary members, 406m c/c for secondary members. Board’s surface to be
flushed finish according ASTM C475/C475M by using 50mm width USG BORAL Perforated
Paper Tape and USG BORAL Premium Premix jointing compound, all fixed in accordance to
manufacturer's instruction and recommendation. (For ceiling not more than 3.50 meters
height).

2. Extra Over for USG BORAL Access Panel (Moisture Resistant) come with the aluminium
trimming provided at along the perimeter of the access board and also the necessary
RONDO Zincalume framing to hold the access panel (Size: 600mm x 600mm).

3. Ceiling Legend – 12.7mm USG BORAL Glass Mat Sheathing Weather Resistant Gymsum
Board with RONDO Steel Stud (51mm x 0.50BMT) System to withstand windload (max
drop 650mm)

USG BORAL conceal suspended semi external ceiling system terminate at soffit of slab
comprising of 1 layers of 12.7mm USG Boral Glass Mat Sheathing Weather Resistant Board
with staggered joint screw fixed onto RONDO zincalume coated steel studs (Size: 51mm x
0.50mm B.M.T) at 610mm c/c for horizontal members  that fits snugly onto RONDO Flexible
Track (Size: 51mm x 0.50mm BMT)  at perimeter wall fixed with M8 Anchor Bolt @600mm
center max. to  brickwall (by others) with plastering on both sides and also as mid-span
nogging tracks. A vertical down strut RONDO Studs (Size: 51mm x 0.50mm 50BMT) with
back to back fixing at every intersection of horizontal studs member with 4 nos of 12f-   14x
25mm hex head drill point screws at one end and the other end fasten to concrete slab using
RONDO L Bracket (P/N 545) fixed with 4 nos of 12gx25mm Hex Head Drill Point Screw to
stud and 1 nos pf M8 HAS Anchor to concrete slab to withstand the uplift of wind. Board
surface of partition to be flushed finished according to ASTM C475/C475M standard by using
50mm width USG BORAL Perforated Paper Tape and USG BORAL Durabond Jointing
compound, whole area of board to be skim coat at least 3mm thick with 1 layer of USG
BORAL Durabond, All fixed in accordance to manufacturer's instruction and
recommendation.

Indicative Supply & Installed Rate: RM140.00 m/2

Extra Over for RONDO P/N P50A Shadowline Stopping Angle (Size: 10mm (H) x 20mm (W).
Exposed surface of metal bead to be finished with 2 coats of USG BORAL Jointing Compound.

Indicative Supply & Installed Rate: RM14.00 per meter run

1) As a manufacturer, we are unable to quote you an actual price of supply and install. The
price quoted above is only an indicative and may differ from actual costing by others eg. sub-
contractors or installers.  This is due to other factors such as height of partition or ceiling, total
quantity of work, location of project, site condition etc.   

2) Prices are based on applicator ( Sub Con ) Buying price quoted ex-Subang Jaya
Warehouse. The Budgetary costs of supply & install indicates above are resembling prevalent
market rate sub-contractor  normally quote to main contractor

3) This budgetary cost is computed based on span of wall not exceeding 9 metres, we
strongly recommend the use of Rondo control /expansion joint should the span exceeded 9
metres without perimeter relief or 12 metres with perimeter relief

4) Should the wall height is higher than height mentioned above and subject to likely lateral
pressure more than 0.25kPa & deflection limit exceed L/240, Please revert to us for new
indicative cost as dimension of steel stud will be increased & its spacing will be reduced to
maintain the structural adequacy of the drywall.

5) The indicative cost is excluding painting or finishing and insulation but including plastering
of joints in between the BORAL gypsum boards, plastering of fasten head & application of
cornice compound along the perimeter of wall partition system.

6) The rates above are applicable to Peninsular Malaysia only.

7) The indicative costing does not incur on scaffold erection and dismantling as we are only
supplying the materials for board, metal studs and jointing compound.

8) Please also take note that we only supply through our distributors and authorised channels
the materials stated above.  We do not supply direct to customers or end-users, therefore for
an actual buying price of our materials, we would recommend that you contact our distributors
or authorised channels to obtain an actual quotation.   

9) Validity period: 6 months from the date of quotation
