PILGRIM’S PRIDE CORPORATION CELEBRA ACORDO COM O A DIVISÃO ANTITRUSTE

A JBS S.A. (“Companhia” – B3: JBSS3, OTCQX: JBSAY), em atendimento ao disposto na

Instrução da Comissão de Valores Mobiliários (“CVM”) n° 358, de 3 de janeiro de 2002, conforme
alterada, comunica aos seus acionistas e ao mercado em geral que foi comunicada hoje pela
sua subsidiária Pilgrim's Pride Corporation (“Pilgrim’s”) (NASDAQ: PPC) que: “a Pilgrim’s
celebrou um acordo com a Divisão Antitruste do Department of Justice dos Estados Unidos
(“Antitrust Division”) no que se refere à investigação sobre vendas de frangos de corte nos
Estados Unidos. No acordo, que está sujeito à aprovação do District Court do Colorado, a
Pilgrim’s e a Antitrust Division concordaram em uma multa de US$ 110.524.140 por restrições à
competição (restraint of competition) que afetou três contratos de venda de produtos de frango
de corte a um cliente nos Estados Unidos. O acordo não recomenda monitoramento, restituição
ou período condicional (probationary period), e prevê que a Antitrust Division não apresentará
acusações adicionais contra a Pilgrim’s com relação a este tema, condicionado a que a Pilgrim’s
cumpra com os termos e condições do acordo. A Pilgrim’s pretende registrar a multa como
despesas diversas em suas demonstrações financeiras do terceiro trimestre de 2020.”

PILGRIM’S PRIDE CORPORATION ENTERS INTO AGREEMENT WITH THE ANTITRUST

DIVISION OF THE UNITED STATES

JBS S.A. (BM&FBOVESPA: JBSS3, OTCQX: JBSAY, "Company"), in accordance with the terms
of CVM Regulation Number 358, dated January 3, 2002, as amended, communicates to its
shareholders and the market in general that it has been informed today by its subsidiary Pilgrim’s
Pride Corporation (“Pilgrim’s”) (NASDAQ: PPC) that: “Pilgrim’s has entered into a plea agreement
with the United States Department of Justice Antitrust Division in respect to its investigation into
the sales of broiler chicken products in the United States. In the plea agreement, which is subject
to the approval of the United States District Court of Colorado, Pilgrim’s and the Antitrust Division
agreed to a fine of US$ 110,524,140 for restraint of competition that affected three contracts for
the sale of chicken products to one customer in the United States. The agreement does not
recommend a monitor, any restitution or probationary period, and provides that the Antitrust
Division will bring no further charges against Pilgrim’s in this matter, provided the company
complies with the terms and provisions of the agreement. Pilgrim’s expects to record the fine as
a miscellaneous expense in its financial statements in the third quarter of 2020.”
