GREEN BUILDING AND OCCUPANT

SATISFACTION

Brief report
The research tries to explore the occupant satisfaction range in a green building.
Post occupancy evaluation being an important part of Building Performance Evaluation,
and the trend of green building increasing day by day, the need to relate occupant
satisfaction with green building is necessary. Various factors like thermal comfort, lighting ,
indoor air quality and overall comfort in analyzed with the help of research papers studied.

Research Question
Do green buildings serve as an ideal building in terms of occupant satisfaction.

Methodology
Literature study of few green buildings
across the world are studied and cross
examined, to understand to what extent a
green building serves and adapts to the
need of the occupants.
