AQUA SOCCER

Description:
It’s about playing soccer game in the water pool by driving floating robot.

General Rules:
1. Uttkranti2K17 event ID card is mandatory.
2. Participants having a valid ID of the respective educational institutions are eligible for
participation.
3. Decision of the judges will be final and will not be subjected to any further
discussions.
4. Minimum ‘1’ and Maximum ‘4’ participants are allowed.
5. Students from different educational institutes can form a team.
6. On the Spot entries are not allowed.
7. Registration fee is Rs. 200/- per team
8. In this event participant have to build an aquatic robot which is capable of floating
over the water, taking sharp turns, flexible in moving back and mainly to play soccer
in water.

Event Rules:

1. Water pool size would be of 10*6*1.5 (l*b*d) (ft.).


2. If the robot dimension crosses the specified limit, the team will be disqualified.
3. Use of AC power supply in any circumstances leads to disqualification
4. Special mechanism for picking the ball is not allowed.
5. 10 points will be awarded for each goal.
6. Team can touch the robot or take restart only 3 times with a penalty of extra 2 points
each.
7. The time play for one game will be 10 minutes. After 1st half (5 minutes) the side will
be changed
8. 3 minutes time will be given to solve any discrepancies.
9. Any team that is not ready at the specified time will be disqualified from the
competition automatically.
10. In case of draw:
I. One robot will be placed behind the penalty mark with no opponent robot
covering the goal.
II. The robot will be given 5 second to navigate the ball to the goal line.
III. 3 chances will be given to each team to provide their excellence.
11. Battery charging during en event is not allowed.
12. Number of qualifying rounds subjected to number of entries.
13. Misbehaving and disobeying of rules by student may cause disqualification.

ROBOT SPECIFICATION:
 Dimension of the robot shall not be more than 35*30*20 cm (l*b*h).
 Maximum allowed weight of robot is 3 Kg
 Maximum voltage between any two terminals should not be more than 24 volt DC.
 Robot can be wired or wireless.
 In case of wired robot, the length of the wire must be minimum 2 meter and
maximum 5 meter.
 The wireless robots should have dual frequency for controlling the robot. All teams
must submit their wireless remote control before the commencement of the
competition.
 No external power supply is allowed.
