in the modern days There has been a hot debate on the issue of gender equality in

the workplace. It is sometimes argued that there should be laws regulating

equality in the numbers of male and female employees in any sectors of
businesses and state services. However, in my view, gender should not be the
priority standard that determines whether an applicant is eligible for a job.

It is obvious that whether a business can function well does not depend mainly on
the genders of its workers. there are some certain fields in which men outperform
women and vice versa. For example, mining or constructing works require mostly male
workers as these fields demand for strengths and the ability to work intensively .
As people are seeking for high productivity in work, well-qualified applicants
should be chosen rather than xxx…….

There are/can be people/those who may argue/claim that

Those who hold the opposing opinion may claim that… gender equality may
provide better opportunities for women , who tend to be underestimated and
considered the inferior in the workplace. However, working capabilities should still be
the priority when considering whether a person is compatible for a job position or not.
In conclusion, laws of equal workforce in terms of sexes are unnecessary as they may
not boost the quality work performance of the employees. Instead, working
efficiency should still be the main criteria/requirement in recruitment. Only by
doing this, can we ensure better performance at work.
