Art in various cultures serve important function. It is through different forms that we can
mirror the past of any civilization, and in terms of culture and heritage, art is very
important .

Local materials like bamboo is primarily used in creating a singkaban , most prevalent in the old
towns of Hagonoy and Malolos. They include the sculpture and the artists who work in three
dimensional media ,painters, photographers, video and installation artists. They make use of materials
and media such as wood, paper, paint, milk, rice, pollen, wax, plaster, stone, glass, metal, plastics,
photos, slides, videos, and computers.
