According to our estimates, the requirement gathering, design and development process will
take around 16 weeks. The testing and launch require an additional 3 week time.

timeline and the estimated ballpark costs of the development process.
Comments: Highlighted part I: do not smother your work/venture with intense words. State
it clearly and simply. This sentence is more in line with a high profile advertisement on a
marquee rather than the opening of a simple summary. Moreover, it does not quite state
what you do till the third line. Granted that the busy executive may have read your detailed
email; but he or she would expect to understand what the document states.
Highlighted part II: Read the sentence carefully; does the document highlight the
development or does it give details of the PROCESS? These are two separate issues.
The summary is more like an abstract which talks what the document is about; it should tell
the reader in short, about the steps. You have only used 62 words instead of 75-90 words.
