On Saturday, October 17, 2020, at approximately 1759 hours, Amanda Raynes (Registrar of ‘Voter's for Desoto Patish) reported to the Desoto Parish Sheriff's Office @ group of approximately 75 to 100 people in and around 104 Crosby St, Mansfield, La., Desoto Parish. Raynes took note of the crowd after heating poitial slogans being broadcast from over some type of electronic public announcing device. ‘The following candidates for office and current office holders were ainoug the crowd: ‘Currently on Ballot Jamar Montgomery #Y on ballot for Unlied States Senate Gary Evans #78 on ballot for Desoto Parish District Awworney George Winston #76 on ballot for 42nd District Judge Division B Kenny Houston #30 on ballot United States 4th Congressional District Currently Seated Mary Linda Green; Mansfield City Council Joseph Hall; Mansfield City Council ‘Thomas Jones; Desoto Parish Policy Jury ‘During this time, Quanitia Shambrika Dennis was observed in the crowd with a "bull horn” and ‘wearing a Gary Evans facemask, Amanda Ruynes addessed the crowd and advised them ofthe law. under 18:1462 that prohibited these activities. Dennis and others questioned Raynes at ‘which time the group was shown a map with the radius. Dennis {ppeared in the area following a political announcement to take @ large proup w vote tnd ‘lasmed that media would be with the group. Dennis mainly inthe library parking lot on her ‘phone but was in no way utilizing the library facilities. Given that Dennis has failed to cease her activities after voting and isin clear violation of LA.
