Turkey is an intercontinental nation bordering the Black Sea, situated in Southeast Europe and

Southwestern Asia. This report will address the context of Turkey's destinations, recognize three
emerging market segments, analyze the pestle analysis and also make suggestions on what steps
Turkey can take to be globally competitive[ CITATION And17 \l 1033 ].
Secondly, According to the state, islam is the major religion in Turkey, with 99.8 percent of the
population reported as Muslim by the percent compared for those whose relatives are not of any
other officially approved religious and the resulting 0.2 percent are Christians or believers of
other officially recognized religions [ CITATION Lee19 \l 1033 ].
Thirdly, the tourists who visited Turkey decreased by 71.2 percent day and-on-year to 1.814
million in August 2020, as the global pandemic travel bans actually hit the tourism industry
particularly hard. Arrivals fell even more from Germany (-76.2%), Bulgaria (-68.3%), Russia (-
59.2%) and the UK (-38.1%), leading to a 12.3% rise in visits from Ukraine. Tourist arrivals
dropped 76.6 percent to 7.25 million together for the first 8 months of each year.

Activities- Turkey is a country with a range of landscapes and geographic locations where you
can do all the sports and activities you can expect. Paragliding over the Dead Sea, scuba diving
in Antalya, scuba diving on the blue coastline, hot air ballooning in Cappadocia, mountain
climbing on Mount Ararat and hunting in Turkey's national parks are all feasible. Golf, cave
exploration, mountain skiing, hot springs and spas, national parks and wildlife watching can also

Conclusively, with a strong history, a culture consisting of the Eastern and Western extremes,
Turkey is definitely a very popular tourist destination and worth exploring. While limited by
