PRELIMINARY OUTLOOK FOR TUESDAY,_February 8, 2011

The local equity market has moved within a narrow 30-points band between 3,860 to 3,900 over the last three days,
in what could be the beginnings of a basing action that will define a support level at the 3,830-3,860 range.
Global developments do not provide further reasons to sell equities, nor do the domestic front. The encouraging
numbers expected from this week's US economic data puts a positive spin to trades. Furthermore, the extent of
the year-to-date drop through Friday last week, have opened doors for bargain hunting. Monday's late surge can
provide a measure of momentum going into Tuesday's trades.
Over-all, the market may be expected to move sideways as it attempts to build a ore solid footing on which the
next upside, spurred by corporate earnings and Q1 expectations will rest. Immediate range for the market is
between 3,830 and 3,950.
