TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS:We will know the town of Wil-
liam Tell. Pictoresque villages as Morcote. Shores of

We travel to BURGLEN, the tiny village where William
Tell was born, we shall see the chapel of the XVI century
with paintings illustrating his life. Afterwards we reach
the enchanting little town of MORCOTE, with its houses
made of stone, and covered with flowers. We enter Italy
and stop in COMO, on the shores of its lake. The city
highlights the Gothic Cathedral. Arrival in MILAN where
our guide will take us to the impressive Duomo Square.
There will be time to dine at the Porta Venecia (Port
of Venice) where an outstanding variety of restaurants
can be found to delight your palate. From restaurants
serving Swiss and Italian food, to French, Chinese and
international food. Transfer to hotel.
08 SUN. Milan - Pisa - Rome.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: Coast of Liguria, Leaning Tow-
er of Pisa.
We continue towards PISA. On a little tourist train we
will travel to the Piazza Dei Miracoli (Square of Mira-
cles), where there will be time to admire one of the most
alluring and beautiful art complexes in Italy, including
the well known Leaning Tower of Pisa. Then, we contin-
ue to Rome, arriving at the end of the afternoon.

We travel to PISA, where we include a little train from
the tourist parking to take us to the monumental Field
of Miracles where we can find the popular Leaning
Tower. After this we will visit the  LIGURIAN COAST,
with some of the prettiest coastlines in Europe. CINQUE
TERRE has been declared Unesco World Heritage, and
comprises five villages almost isolated by road, which
live on fishing and tourism. Given the difficult access
by road, we go by train, with a ticket included to VER-
NAZZA,  which maintains its appearance of a citadel,
with its outstanding church of Santa Margarita built in
1318, overlooking the sea. Time for lunch. We go on by
train to LEVANTOwhere we are awaited by the coach

An exciting stage full of beauty. We travel between moun-
tains on our way to METSOVO. A coffee in this city that
reminds us of the history and influence of the Slav and
Turkish world in the north of Greece, before going on
to IGUMENITSA, where we will embark for the very beau-
tiful island of CORFU. A one and a half hour crossing
of the waters of the Ionian Seain front of the coast of
Albania, we suggest lunch on board. On the island of Cor-
fu, the Pearl of the Ionian Sea, we see its capital KERKI-
RA which preserves its Venetian style historic centre. We
also see KANONI a beautiful Byzantine church perched
on an island. We embark once more to return to conti-
nental Greece, before going on to LEFKADA, dinner in-
cluded and accommodation in the picturesque capital of
this small island connected to the continent by a bridge.

make a stop at the CORINTH CANAL. After this, we have
time in the immense fortress of ACCRA CORINTH. At the
top of the settlement are the foundations of what was
a temple to Aphrodite. We go on to MYCENAE, a colos-
sal citadel from the eighteenth century BC, the birthplace
of the first European civilisation. We stop in TRIPOLI,
the provincial capital of a region that produces excellent
wines. In the middle of the afternoon, we go on our way to
OLYMPIA. Dinner included.
04 SAT. Olympia - Patras - Amfilochia - Arta -

We will visit OLYMPIA archeological site with a local

We will resume our trip to NAPLES, where we will arrive
in the afternoon. Short sightseeing tour in its historic
centre before resuming our journey to ROME.

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS: City tour of Rome. Roman Coli-
seum (admission price included) and Vatican City.
In the morning, we have a scenic tour of the city, which
will be a great introduction to “The Eternal city”. We enter
the tiny state of the Vatican. The Vatican City is a prin-
cipal centre of Christianity in the world. You will be able
to visit St. Peter’s Basilica. And we have also included
admission to the Roman Coliseum, the principal symbol
of Rome. This impressive construction dates back 2,000
years and will transport us in time so that we can learn
about ancient society in the Roman Empire. In the evening
we provide transport to the Via Cavour area, where
you will find restaurants serving Italian, Indian, Chinese
and international food. Return to hotel.

We will leave Rome, heading north. This route is graced with
beautiful landscapes. Upon arrival in FLORENCE, we head
straight to Piazzale Michelangelo, an impressive site in
the city. In the evening we provide a tour with a local ex-
pert, and walk through the historic centre, taking in plac-

Signoria. This city is truly an outdoor museum. Free time

Canal. Visit and admission to the St Mark´s Basilica. Admire

Today we enjoy stunning mountain landscapes while cross-
ing the Apennine Mountains. Arriving in VENICE, we will
board a Vapporetto to travel around on the canals in the
historic centre. With a local guide, we will visit the marvel-
lous St Marck´s and enter the marvellous basilica (entry
cost included). Afterwards, we shall be able to visit the
Murano glass factory. It is marvellous to see the technique
how this ancient glass is made. Free time.
At the end of the afternoon, you will have the chance to eat

Transylvania across the Carpathian mountains and through
forests. SINAIA, we will stroll in the gardens of the Peles
and Pelisor castles before going on to the 14th-century
BRAN fortress, known as “Dracula’s Castle” (tickets in-
cluded). Time for lunch. We go on to SIGHISOARA, a
very beautiful walled mediaeval city and Heritage of
Mankind. Tonight we include a very special dinner,
in the restaurant of Count Dracula, in the house where

In Transylvania there are numerous fortified churches in
areas that were inhabited by people of German origin;
some of these churches have been declared Heritage of
Mankind, and we will see one of them: BIERTAN (tick-
ets included). After this, we go on to SIBIU, an import-
ant economic and cultural centre that was the capital of
Transylvania, with its bustling narrow streets and squares.
Time for a stroll and for lunch. In the afternoon, we visit
the impressive castle of HUNEDOARA (tickets includ-
ed), which is considered the prettiest castle in Romania.
We go on to TIMISOARA, with time for a stroll in its ele-
gant central squares.

We make a panoramic tour of TIRANA the capital of Al-

At around midday, we leave for inland Albania. High moun-
tain scenery with small villages on our way. Very beautiful
countryside around Lake Ohrid which forms the border with
Macedonia. We go into the Republic of Macedonia (border
procedures),  STRUGA, a picturesque town on the shores
of the lake and time for lunch. We continue to OHRID, on
the shores of the beautiful lake. This is a city with strong
Ottoman influence, and you can stroll and see the Plaosnik
Monastery or the ancient university founded in the ninth
century. The city is declared World Heritage. Dinner includ-

We travel through Macedonia to Greece, passing
through BITOLA, a historic city that was called the city of
the consuls. Border procedures on entering  GREECE. The
North of Greece is strongly Slav and Ottoman in influence
and has a sharp landscape. By a lake in very beautiful scen-
ery we see KASTORIA, the city of the 100 churches, with its
mediaeval streets and its pleasant restaurants by the lake.
Continuation to KALABAKA, arrival in the early afternoon.
We will visit the  Valley of the METEORA,  an impressive
place declared UNESCO World Heritage. We will have the
chance to enter one of its most famous monasteries. Din-

We will travel south through the Thessaly region. We will
arrive in DELPHI after enjoying the view of wonderful
landscapes. Visit and lunch at the beautiful archeological
complex looking over the Gulf of Corinth offering amazing
vistas. We will resume our journey to ATHENS. Arrival at
mid-afternoon.  We include night transportation to the
PLÁKA quarter, a place full of Greek taverns where you will

on to IGUMENITSA, where we will embark for the very

ing of the waters of the Ionian Seain front of the coast
of Albania, we suggest lunch on board. On the island
of Corfu, the Pearl of the Ionian Sea, we see its capi-
tal KERKIRA which preserves its Venetian style historic
centre. We also see KANONI a beautiful Byzantine church
perched on an island. We embark once more to return to

With a local guide, we visit OLYMPIA, where you can see
the archaeological complex (entrance to the complex not
in antiquity. After this, we cross the mountainous interior
of the Peloponnese on our way to  MISTRA, alongside
the ancient SPARTA, a very old Byzantine city which was
abandoned in the nineteenth century. It ruins are impres-
sive, and we particularly enjoy the Byzantine frescoes
in its monasteries. We go on through inland Pelopon-
nese to  NAFPLIO, a delightful coastal city which takes
its name from the Venetian Citadel and fortress. Dinner

08 SUN. Nafplio- Epidaurus- Poros- Aegina-
Athens.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT: Beautiful stage by land and sea.

Today we have a beautiful stage by land and sea. First
of all we will see EPIDAURUS, its ancient theatre built
can accommodate up to 14,000 people. After this, we go
to the coast of the Aegean Sea to continue our trip on
the water. A short boat crossing takes us to POROS, a
charming place full of tourist life, where its ancient hous-
es climb up to the clock tower and we have time for a
stroll and lunch. After this we take the ferry to AEGINA,
an island inhabited for more than 4000 years, where we
can stroll around its ancient churches, its picturesque
port and its typical districts of little houses. At around
18.00 PM we will go back on the ferry, which will take
us back  to ATHENS  in around 45 minutes – Arrival in
Piraeus and transfer to the hotel.

We will leave Rome early in the morning. We will cross
the Apennines amid the gorgeous landscapes of the
Abruzzo region. LORETO, visit to the Basilica della San-
ta Casa (Basilica of the Holy House), the house of Virgin
Mary, and its lovely medieval town. Arrival in ANCONA.
Quick tour of this town on the Adriatic shore. We will go
on an early afternoon boat trip in the Adriatic and Io-
nian seas. Overnight ferryboat trip. Accommodation

and Turk worlds. Arrival in IOANNINA, a historic walled
city on the lake’s shore. We will go on a short boat trip
to IOANNINA ISLAND located on the lake. This tiny,
quiet lake town holds several monasteries. We will con-
tinue to KALABAKA where we will arrive early in the
afternoon. We will visit METEORA valley, a spectacular
place added to UNESCO World Heritage List. We will
have the opportunity to enter one of its famous monas-

TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT: Peloponnese region. Corinth canal.
Mycenae archaeological site. Dinner included.
In the morning, we leave for the Peloponnese region.
We make a stop at the CORINTH CANAL. After this, we
have time in the immense fortress of ACCRA CORINTH.
At the top of the settlement are the foundations of
what was a temple to Aphrodite. We go on to MYCE-
NAE, a colossal citadel from the eighteenth century BC,
the birthplace of the first European civilisation. We stop
in TRIPOLI, the provincial capital of a region that pro-
duces excellent wines. In the middle of the afternoon,
we go on our way to OLYMPIA. Dinner included.
04 SAT. Olympia- Mistra- Nafplio.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT:  Olympia archaeological site with
local guide and inland Peloponnese. Dinner included.
With a local guide, we  visit  OLYMPIA,  where you
can see the archaeological complex (entrance to the
complex not included) which was the birthplace of the
Olympic Games in antiquity. After this, we cross the
mountainous interior of the Peloponnese on our way
to MISTRA, alongside the ancient SPARTA, a very old
Byzantine city which was abandoned in the nineteenth
century. It ruins are impressive, and we particularly en-
joy the Byzantine frescoes in its monasteries. We go on
through inland Peloponnese to  NAFPLIO, a delightful
coastal city which takes its name from the Venetian Cit-
adel and fortress. Dinner included.
05 SUN. Nafplio- Epidaurus- Poros- Aegina-
Athens.-
TODAY’S HIGHLIGHT:  Beautiful stage by land and sea.
Epidaurus theatre. Aegean Sea boat crossing.  10 FRI. Athens.-
Today we have a beautiful stage by land and sea. First
of all we will see EPIDAURUS, its ancient theatre built
2400 ago is magnificently preserved and still used, and
can accommodate up to 14,000 people. After this, we
go to the coast of the Aegean Sea to continue our trip
on the water. A short boat crossing takes us to PO-
ROS, a charming place full of tourist life, where its an-
cient houses climb up to the clock tower and we have
time for a stroll and lunch. After this we take the ferry
to AEGINA, an island inhabited for more than 4000
years, where we can stroll around its ancient church-
es, its picturesque port and its typical districts of little
houses. At around 18.00 PM we will go back on the fer-
ry, which will take us back  to ATHENS  in around 45
Note:  The ferry timetable changes depending on the
season and crossings are very limited between Poros
and Aegina. In the low season, the island of Aegina may
be replaced by the island of Hydra.
