especially the digestive system. Probiotics are also known to stimulate the gut immune
system.
AquaLiv is a combination of beneficial microorganisms most of which are normal
free from Antibiotics
residents of the digestive tract of the shrimp. Supplementing the feed with AquaLiv

INTRODUCTION: TaQat is a multi-mineral mixture used in aquaculture. It’s a combination

of macro & micromineral elements added into pond water for better shrimp growth &

NITROEASE
INTRODUCTION: NitroEase is a product containing beneficial nitrifying microorganism.

It helps to reduce aquatic nitrite waste by nitrification process and convert it into
nitrate, which is not toxic to shrimp at low levels. Supplementing of NitroEase keeps the
shrimp away from toxic nitrites & helps improve overall health thus improving its yield
considerably.

INTRODUCTION: Finar Aquaculture presents Yu-Fin a potent ammonia binder with

healing power of Yucca. All our products are made from carefully selected ingredients
and tested for their stringent quality parameters which makes them safe and sustainable.

COMPOSITION: Natural Yucca Extract  Excipient QS
BENEFITS:
• Drastically reduce ammonia levels and other toxic compounds detrimental to the
development of fish and shrimp
• Increased weight gain due to a better feed conversion
• Lower mortality rate
• Improve the quality of the water in the ponds by creating a cleaner environment
• Compatible with any other feed ingredient that is added to fish and shrimp feed
to improve its efficiency like immunogenic and probiotic.
Yu-Fin must be applied at a rate of 500 gms to 1 kg per acre by thoroughly mixing it
with sand or 25 kg of Zeolite and spread evenly across the pond.
Application can be repeated once in 15 days up to 90 days of culture
and once in 10 days after 90 days of culture.
During stress conditions, 5-10 gms of Yu-Fin can be given per kg of
feed once in three days or till the condition persists.

ZEO-FIN-Z
INTRODUCTION: Zeo-Fin-Z are a family of crystalline aluminosilicate minerals.

Natural Zeo-Fin-Z is formed by the devitrification of volcanic ash in lake and marine
waters millions of years ago. Zeo-Fin-Z has the element of SiO2, Al2O3, FeO3, TiO2, MgO,
CaO, Na2O, K2O and P2O5 etc. with Zinc. It is known as group of natural, inorganic silicates
with broad application & benefits to aquaculture.

CALCIUM CHLORIDE
INTRODUCTION: Water hardness is important to fish & prawn culture and is a

commonly reported aspect of water quality. It is a measure of the quantity of divalent
ions such as calcium in water. There are many different divalent salts; however, calcium
is the most common source of water hardness.

PRODUCT NATURE: Mineral Supplement & Water Quality Management
COMPOSITION: Calcium Chloride fused
BENEFITS:
• Calcium has an important role in the biological processes of fish & shrimp. It is
necessary for bone formation, blood clotting and other metabolic reactions.
• Fish & shrimp can absorb calcium directly from the water or food. The presence of
free (ionic) calcium at relatively high concentrations in culture water helps reduce
the loss of other salts (e.g. sodium and potassium) from fish body fluids (i.e. blood).
• Sodium and potassium are the most important salts in fish & shrimp blood and are
critical for normal heart, nerve and muscle function. In low calcium water, fish and
shrimp can lose (leak) substantial quantities of these salts into the water.
• Loss of Na and K salt from fish and shrimp leads to low energy levels which impacts
their growth. Calcium is extremely important to avoid the loss and ensure proper
weight gain and growth at the end of the cycle.
Recommended : 5-10 kg per acre

MOLYSITE (Ferric Chloride)
INTRODUCTION: The primary use of Ferric Chloride is to remove water impurities.

Molysite also known as Iron chloride is used in treatment of industrial water and waste
water plants as well as in pretreatment of seawater prior to desalination. Molysite,
also known as iron chloride is used as coagulants or flocculants for odour control,
phosphrous removal and hydrogen sulphide minimization. This is one of the few water
treatment chemicals that can sequester odours.

INTRODUCTION: White Vitriol is an inorganic compound and dietary supplement. As a

supplement, it is used to treat zinc deficiency.

NAHCOLITE (Sodium Bicarbonate)
INTRODUCTION: Nahcolite can break down to CO2 in the presence of other acids, and
by so doing it neutralizes that acid. Nahcolite is useful for protecting an aqueous system
from pH swings, either up or down. Nahcolite is used as pH buffer (raising alkalinity).

INTRODUCTION: It is an inorganic compound of chemical formula Na2S2O5. The

substance is sometimes referred to as Disodium Metabisulfite. It is used as a disinfectant,
antioxidant, and preservative agent.

• It is used to prevent oxidation and helps to clean the water
• It reduces the heavy metals in the water and softens the water

INTRODUCTION: Glutaraldehyde has a wide spectrum of sporicidal and antibacterial

activity, and is active in the presence of organic matter. It is non-corrosive, non-irritant
and its low surface tension permits easy penetration and has no residual effect.

HYPO-4 (Sodium Hypochlorite 4%)
INTRODUCTION: It is composed of a Sodium Cation (Na+) and a Hypochlorite Anion

(ClO-); it may also be viewed as the Sodium Salt of Hypochlorous Acid. When dissolved
in water it is commonly known as bleach or liquid bleach. Hypo-4 is practically and
chemically distinct from chlorine. It is frequently used as a disinfectant or a bleaching
agent.

INTRODUCTION: Formalin has powerful germicidal action. It is an excellent and reliable

disinfectant and sanitizer. Its action is not appreciably reduced by presence of organic

BZK-80 (Benzalkonium Chloride)
INTRODUCTION: BZK-80 is a quaternary ammonium compound having microbiocidal

properties for use as a disinfectant, sanitizer, germicide and algaecide in shrimp and
fish aquaculture. It is a cationic surfactant used as “Topical Disinfectant” to remove echo
parasites from fish and shrimp. It has detergent and antibacterial activity, effective on
treatment of bacterial, protozoan and monogenean infections. It is also recommended
as bactericides and fungicides in shrimp hatcheries.

COMPOSITION: Benzalkonium Chloride 80% & suitable stabilizer in appropriate

prevention of infectious disease in fish & shrimp. BZK-50 has powerful antimicrobial

INTRODUCTION: Peroxyklin 30 was used mainly as a treatment against ectoparasites

of adult fish, such as sea lice (Lepeophtherius Salmonis), or against the microbiota of fish
eggs, mainly fungi in freshwater species. Although it is one of the most powerful known
oxidizers, it is easily decomposed in a water solution, particularly in the presence of
organic matter, light and turbulence (all conditions easily met in aquaculture systems),

leaving no toxic products. The spectrum of species and live stages has also increased;
Peroxyklin 30 has been tested on rotifers, crustacea, bivalves and fish, and on eggs,
larvae, juveniles and adults.

the aquaculture industry. Finflavin is used to treat bacterial infections, mouth fungus,
oodinium (velvet), fin and tail rot, sliminess of skin, saprolegnia and protozoa.

Acriflavin is used to either prevent or treat diseases including :
• Black gill, Brown gill and Yellow gill issues

• Fin rot – Fins and tail become ragged and frayed, in some cases almost completely

INTRODUCTION: Diamond Green is an organic compound “triphenylmethane” that

is traditionally used as an industrial dye for materials such as silk, wool, cotton, jute,
leather, and paper. Diamond Green has been found effective as an antifungal agent
in fisheries and has been used as an effective fungicide, especially as a general fish
hatchery disinfectant. Its use has been also very popular in treating infection caused by

bacteria (gram positive bacteria) and ectoparasites especially in the treatment of eggs
in fish hatcheries.
