SUBJECT: OPL Template - CA10 - Create/Maintain Standard Text for PM Orders-Task Lists
PURPOSE: To create/maintain standard text that can then be referenced from a work
order or task list operation.
1. Go to transation CA10.
4. Type in the text that you want to have included in your work order.
7. When creating a work order, go to the Operations tab after setting up the order per the IW31 OPL.
8. Type in the standard text name in the standard text key field of the order:

9. When selecting enter/releasing/saving the order, this pop-up will appear, asking the user if the
standard text should be added to the long text (No) or replace the existing short text/long text (Yes).
The user should select the appropriate choice.
10. If adding to a task list in transaction IA11, this goes on the operation screen as well, in a slightly
different location;
11. The information in the standard text will be added and visible under the Long Text icon of the work
order, and will print on the shop paper.
