Are you a pharmacist?

Are you sure that you are a pharmacist?

Ok, Ok, I believe you...

But are you a clinical pharmacist?

What? What are you saying?

You don't know what Clinical Skills is?!!

FINE, So as EPSF continues to care about you, and as that pharmacists should have clinical skills, so we
had to contribute to increase the awareness of those skills for you, me and all Egyptian pharmacy
students.

Place:
Faculty of pharmacy and drug manufacture, Pharos University,
Alexandria, Egypt.

Host:
This EPSF event was organized by PSPSA (Pharos Scientific
Pharmaceutical Student Association), Full Member association in
EPSF.

Number of participants:
150 students from all over Egypt.

Preparations:
Since it’s an important event so we had a team which consisted
of 25 organizers, we published posters to promote the event
among the pharmacy students then speakers were contacted for
the event.

Main topic for the event:

OTC agents for GERD, heartburn and Dyspepsia.
The first day:
1. Session entitled "non-prescription pharmacotherapy" by Dr. Ahmed Abo Zaid which talked about all the
important clinical data needed to be a professional pharmacist.

2. To be a good clinical pharmacist you should learn how to work with healthcare team members and this
skill was gained after the "Team building" session by Dr. Ayman El-Nahas.

3. We had partners too in our efforts such as El-Ezaby Pharmacies who provided us with the marvelous
session called "OTC drugs & drug interaction".

The second day:

1. CAUTION: Don't eat a lot of sweets. Because after this session we really learned the threats of Diabetes
Mellitus by Dr. Hosny Fouad.

2. NOW, Let's COMPETE!, Six finalists were chosen by a quiz to enter the final competition which was role
play between pharmacist and patient.

And how was the judgment?

Dr. Ahmed Abo Zaid was the judge and gave few comments to the competitors then three winners were
chosen and awarded…
This event came to an end but we have few words for you…
It was our honor sharing you with some of the knowledge we gained initially from working with you.

EPSF team still goes on to leave an impact in your lives.

Special thanks to:

 All PSPSA members who gave their effort and sweat

into this event.
 PSPSA president: Mostafa Ragab.
 Event Co-ordinator: Ahmed Ghoniem.
