SUBJECT: Associate Notice Board

EFFECTIVE DATE: 7 August 2006

POLICY STATEMENT:

It is the policy of the Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts (BTHR) to keep associates updated of the key
happenings within the hotel and the Group.

PURPOSE:

The purpose of this policy is to ensure all Human Resources Departments maintain updated
notice boards so as to keep associates informed of the key happenings in the hotel and the
Group.

PROCEDURES:

Human Resources Department should ensure separate notice boards are set aside for the
following:

ƒ Associate Recognition Awards

- Associate of the Month
- Manager of the Quarter
- Associate of the Year
- Manager of the Year

ƒ BTHR Corporate News

- New Hotel Openings
- Group Wide Job Vacancies
- Introduction of EXCO Members
- Promotion/ Movement of Key Personnel Officers
- News Release

ƒ Hotel News
- Associate Party
- Associate Welfare & Recreational Activities
- Associate Birthday Celebrations

ƒ Guest Comments
- Guests’ Compliments
- Guests’ Complaints

ƒ Any other notice board which may be of interest to associates

Note:
ƒ Minimum size for each notice board – 125cm by 90cm
ƒ HR Department should ensure that the information posted on all associate notice boards is
updated.
ƒ Notice boards should be well maintained in a prominent location.
