Policy: ASSOCIATES RECOGNITION AWARDS

Standard : The hotel shall provide the following recognition and award programs:
1. Associate of The Month
2. Associate of The Year
3. Most Commended Associate of the Quarter
4. Most Commended Associate of the Year
5. Bravery Award
6. Honesty Award

Objective : To reward associates who perform outstandingly and to recognize their significant
contribution to the hotel.

Procedure : 1. Associate of The Month:


1.1. Open for associate from Level C4-D5 (Supervisor Level) to Level E1-
E4 (Rank & File Level) who have completed 6 (six) months of service and
who have not won an associate of the month award in 12 months.
1.2. Each month department heads will be asked to nominate an associate from
their department together with reasons for the nomination.
1.3. The nominated associates will have their names forwarded to the Human
Resources Department who will consolidate the names and send to the
General Manager/Hotel Manager in advance.
1.4. The Executive Committee and Department Heads will meet each month and
will vote to determine who the winner is.
1.5. Department Heads are not allowed to vote for their own candidate.
1.6. The winner will be announced at the Employee Birthday Party.

2. Associate of the Year:


2.1. All winners of the Employee of The Month for Supervisor and R&F Level
will automatically be the nominees for the Associate of The Year award.
2.2. The Executive Committee will select among the monthly winners to
determine the Associate of the Year winner.

3. Most Commended Employee of the Quarter.


3.1. The award will be given to the associate whose name has been mentioned
and commended the most number of times on the guest comments cards.
3.2. Each month the guest comment cards will be collated and the names of
employees mentioned and commended will be tallied.
3.3. The employee with the most number of nominations will be selected as the
winner.
3.4. The winner shall be decided by the Training Manager, Personnel Manager,
Director of Human Resources and General Manager/Hotel Operation
Manager/Hotel Manager.

4. Most Commended Associate of the year –
4.1. The award will be given to the associate of Supervisor Level and RF Level
who has received the most number of the nominations from the guest at the
end of the year.
4.2. The winner to be decided upon by the Training Manager, Personnel
Manager, Director of Human Resources and General Manager/Hotel
Operation Manager/Hotel Manager.

5. Bravery Award:
This is an award given to an associate who has exhibited acts of bravery in line of
duty.

6. Honesty Award:
This is an award given to an associate exhibited an act of honesty.

7. Prizes:
7.1. Associate of The Month for RF level will consist of 2 winners per month
– 1 associate from Front of The House and 1 associate from Back of The
House will receive : Certificate and cash prize Rp. 300.000,- (three hundred
thousand rupiah ) per person.
7.2. Associate of The Month for Supervisor level ( 1 winner per month) will
receive : Certificate and Cash Prize Rp. 400.000,- (four hundred thousand
rupiah).
7.3. Each winner will receive an additional cash prize Rp.200,000,- which
taken from The Associate Welfare as agreed by The Chairman of The
Union.
7.4. total cash prizes per month for 7.1 + &.2 + 7.3 = rp.1,600,000,00 (one
million six hundred thousand rupiah)

7.5. Associate of The Year for RF level will consist of 2 winners – 1 associate
from Front of The House and 1 associate from Heart of The House will
receive : Certificate and cash prize Rp. 2,500,000,- (two million five
hundred thousand rupiah ) per person.
Associate of The Year for Supervisor level will receive : Certificate and
Cash Prize Rp. 3,000,000,- (three million rupiah).

7.6. Most Commended Associate RF + Supervisor of the Quarter will


receive : Certificate and special prize.

7.7. Most Commended Associate of the Year RF + Supervisor will receive:


Certificate and cash prize Rp. 500,000,- (five hundred thousand rupiah)
7.8. Bravery Award will receive : Certificate and cash prize
7.9. Honesty Award will receive : Certificate and cash prize Rp.250.000,-
(twohundred and fifty thousand rupiah)
