Students will be given a paper with instructions to name 3 major religious groups of the Protestant Reformation and what
regions they came from. Later, Students will make a presentation about a group during this time.

Completing the worksheet with at least two correct answers and making a concise and detailed presentation.

Opening Activity
¨ How will you activate student interest?
Try to intermingle some of the more ridiculous facts about why each of these religions split off, such as Martin Luther getting
mad at the church selling basically heaven tickets or how the whole debacle with King Henry. Also use art during the time and
videos on the issue.

Make a timeline of events to give students a sense of dates and make a discussion time after lectures for students to help
each other.

Make it like a story, try not to spend so much time on boring minutia and instead try to highlight more interesting parts with details
splashed in between.
