Annual Nativities’
Display Scheduled
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints would like to invite the public to share
with us a time for peace, tranquility and rejoicing
in the birth of our Savior. An Open House will be
held the evenings of December 2-4, 2020 to view
Nativity scenes from around the world.
First started in 2015 and becoming more
successful each year, more than 200 sets were
displayed last year. Included will be a hand-
blown glass set from Italy, an olive wood scene
from Israel, a hand-carved shell set from the
Islands, ornaments from Africa, Spain, and
Peru. Some sets are from Germany, and Brazil,
and beautiful hand-painted ones from right here
in Glasgow. Coming in a variety of sizes, colors
and numbers of figures as well. There is even a
room of special ones just for children. There will
be arts and crafts station for the children so they
can participate in the celebration of the birth of
our Savior.
Anyone who might have one he or she
would like to offer for the temporary display is
also encouraged to participate. Simply bring
them to the Chapel the evening of December
1. Or if you would like, contact Shelley Romo,
228-4271, to make arrangements for them to be
picked up.
#1! The Open House will be held at the
Chapel from 6-8pm each of the three
Who’s #1? Well, when it comes to a team manager, Nik Nistler
certainly comes to mind. Nik loves his Scotties and is very evenings, December 2-4. The address is 15
dedicated, and if there was an All-State selection for team Airport Road with ample parking. Masks
manager for basketball or football, he’d certainly get our nod! and social distancing is being observed.
