1.

The Moro Rebellion (1901-1913) occurred after the conclusion of the Philippine-
American War and involved sporadic confrontations between the Muslim Filipinos
living in the southern part of the Philippines and the American soldiers there to
oversee the transition from Spanish rule to U.S. oversight.

The migration of Filipinos from the northern and central regions of the Philippines
to Mindanao led to conflicts. As the 2005 PHDR explains: The Muslims resented
the loss of their lands, including those idle but which formed part of their
traditional community.

War and conflict in Mindanao is one of the country’s biggest issues that roots
back with their disputes over ancestral land and religion. The Bangsamoro
Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao is the home of the Muslims who fight
for their self-determination and aspirations for a peaceful and progressive region.

Some matters including budgeting, administration of justice, agriculture, disaster

risk reduction and management, ancestral domains, human rights, local
government units, public works, social services, tourism, and trade and industry
are the exclusive powers the Bangsamoro government will have. While the nine
reserved powers of the central government will retain powers over constitutional
and national matters such as foreign affairs and defense.

2. The Kartilya ng Katipunan (English: Primer of the Katipunan[1]) served as the

guidebook for new members of the organization, which laid out the group's rules
and principles. The first edition of the Kartilya was written by Emilio
Jacinto. Andrés Bonifacio later wrote a revised Decalogue. The Decalogue,
originally titled Katungkulang Gagawin ng mga Z. Ll. B. (Duties of the Sons of the
People), was never published because Bonifacio believed that
Jacinto's Kartilya was superior to what he had made.As I read the Decalogue of
the Duties of the Sons of the people by Andres Bonifacio and the Kartilya ng
Katipunan by Emilio Jacinto, I realized that the past heroes we have made a
focal point on what our government has become today. There is no such things
as better law because the two has their own purpose on how they will handle
their people. The two laws stated their own way to express the love for their
country.

As matter of fact, Andres Bonifacio instills on the people’s mind to love the things
they have because this is the only treasure they have as of that time. While
Emilio Jacinto stated the things that should not be done in a community since
some wrongdoings comes with a punishment.

By these facts, I can barely say that each one of them did their best for our
country to be better.
