After learning more on the daily lives of IT
specialists, I found that writing is a big part of
their career. Writing in this career consists of
postmortems, IT assessments, and emails.
The act of recording mistakes made previously
into a full analysis of events that took place
during a project is creating a postmortem.
A more common way that IT specialists record
work made throughout their day is through IT
assessments.
An IT Assessment is a of gathering information
through an IT network infrastructure and
presenting this information in a detailed
report in front of co-workers.
These detailed reports can be shared with
other co-workers to ensure this problem
doesn’t occur again.
Email is a communicating medium in which
other co-workers to can reach out to IT
specialists with a problem that can be emailed
back with a solution. The act of writing the
problem and solution for work to succeed.
