TODAY WE WILL TALK ABOUT STRESS

FOR THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION (WHO)

It is a set of physiological reactions that prepares the body for action.

There are two components:
Eustress: is normal. It is the body's natural reaction in response to a
physical or emotional challenge.

Distress: refers to the harmful consequences of excessive

psychophysiological activation, mainly appearing irritability and
anxiety.

Phases of stress: Causes of stress:

Alarm phase. Exogenous: Environmental.
Resistance phase. Endogenous: From the body.
Exhaustion phase

TIPS FOR MANAGING STRESS:

Exercise regularly
Do alternative therapies, such as:

THE CHI KUNG

It is a Chinese discipline that consists of

performing vigorous and powerful exercises
that allow us to increase our inner and vital
energy,
Here involves the use of more muscles and a
longer series of movements.

CHI KUNG HAS MULTIPLE BENEFITS SUCH AS:

Improves the functioning of all the organs
and systems of the body.
Sometimes it slows down the process of
cancer and arthritis, as an emotional cleansing
is done.
Blood and circulation: Increases the number of
red blood cells and the quality of blood.

Muscles and bones: It always reinforces the

health of the bones and marrow, muscles and
tendons as it provides elasticity, almost always
preventing arthritis.
Nervous system: improves memory and brain
function, almost always releasing stress.
Helps in lack of energy and fatigue: In most
cases, it enhances breathing as an energy
engine.
BASAL BODY AWARENESS

There are few treatments and research that are based on movement,
one of them is basal body awareness that studies and explores the
experiences of body awareness, this allows treating the whole person,
body and mind. Our thoughts influence our posture and movements,
and vice versa

THE DEFINITION OF BASAL BODY

awareness.

Physiotherapy allows a different approach to

pathologies that usually have a
harmacological and psychotherapeutic
reatment, in the context of a multidisciplinary
team

This frequently ensures a better

understanding of the actions of people with
stress, depression, schizophrenia, or eating
disorders.

ACTIVITY - EXAMPLE
This therapy has to be done individually or in
small groups.

The main objective is to look for quality in the movement;

To achieve this we focus on:

The mission of the Physiotherapist is to guide the

movements, to be able to put it into practice in your daily
life. If you get better contact, ith yourself, with the
environment and with others, you will feel better and your
movements will be more functional.

Postural Stability: way and form.

Breathing: fluidity, elasticity and rhythm.
Consciousness: intention, emotion.
Awareness of yourself: personal aspects.
