Councilman Calls for Discussion

The Chesapeake Beach Town
Council was pressed once again at
their Nov. 18 meeting to reconsider
the town’s ban on short-tern rentals.
Shad Montague, one of four per-

meeting, asked for the town to put
the item on their January agenda for
discussion.
The town has been presented with
a petition with more than 600 signa-
tures supporting short-term rentals,
such as Airbnb.
Mayor Pat Mahoney is dead-fast

rentals. He told the County Times
