The Capacity of Our Brain

Why when we are babies our language changes when we are children? Why are

there people who are smart by just knowing the basics of writing, reading, and learning?

Why there are people who have a syndrome are more intelligent? Why are there people

who learn things faster than me? Will there be a limit for our brain for learning a lot of

information? What does our mind do when we have a conversation or a presentation? These

are some of the questions that many people ask themselves.

Our mind is one of the most necessary organs of our body. Without the brain we could not

do any actions like running, jumping, walking, swimming, and other things, but not only

has the ability to do actions but also la=earn to develop information. What do I mean by

information? I mean that our mind has the ability to memorize words to write, read, and

speak different languages. From babies, we only learn to say one or two words that we do

not know what they mean but our mind has the ability to learn and analyze words when we

have good mental development and when we least expect it, our mind will begin to

distinguish words like most of us who started with the word of mom or dad or any other

words. Our mental capacity does not have a limit no matter how old you are and also all

behaviors change our mind. For example, from childhood, they teach us to know what

things are wrong or what things are right.

The mind has the ability to think anything before doing an action. When we make a

conversation with another person our mind has a different reaction that we do not realize.

Instead of reading minds like in science fiction movies, what we do is mentalizing and

think what the other person may be thinking. Mentalizing helps to know the behavior of

people and without that ability, the social world would be confusing. Our brain is made of

cells called neurons that can communicate with each other using chemical and electrical

signals. If neurons send more signals, more energy will use our minds. That energy that

neurons send uses oxygen to react. It is important metalize not only to read or observe but

also to serve during social interaction.

Finally, our behavior is changing our brain and these changes are not limited to age,

but there are things that are forgotten over time. There are terms that show why these things

forget and are called “Long Term” and “Short Term”. An example to understand so there is

no recipe for learning. The behavior to our life, each thing changes our brain. Learning is

work that our mind requires and everything we do, everything we encounter, and

everything we experience changes our mind.
