So since last few days I have developed interest in a field which was totally new to me till 6 th of march 2020

called industrial
internet of things. I had interned as a marketing intern at AT&T global network services india as a marketing intern in the field
of IIOT in india. During the internship tenure I was assigned a task to analyse a product of AT&T named AMOC i.e. Asset
management operations center.

In this video I would be describing the functions, applications, scope and importance of that product in today’s continuously
digitizing world and its effectiveness after COVID. So AMOC can be defined as a single, centralized user interface from which
one can Seamlessly track, monitor, and manage virtually any connected asset around the globe.

AMOC can help in the location tracking , condition monitoring, activity managements of the assets to gain Operational
efficiency and optimize product usage and productivity
To understand all this simply lets take example of a freight services company. If you are engaged in transportation of goods then
you can track the condition of your goods by fixing iot sensors in your truck which examine the humidity and temperature inside
the truck and based on the collected data you can examine the condition of the goods inside the truck and take necessary actions
if required. This is called condition monitoring.
Let’s take an another example of a rental equipment company, rental equipment companies are those which rents its assets to
other companies or people for a period of time for example renting a JCB, Car, truck, etc. They can monitor the condition in
which their asset is in the hands of some other person. This can solve the most hectic problems of a rental service company like
getting their assets damaged from the customers and missing assets.
By this time I think I have made it very obvious that what a AMOC product provides to its users. SO lets take one last example
of a ecommerce company. As we all know ecommerce companies face a lot of issues like missing parcels, getting a wrong
product delivered to the customer different from as ordered, getting the parcels manipulated in between, etc. This can decrease
the customer trust in the company, making the customers switch to some other platform and decreasing the revenue and profit to
the company in the nutshell. By AMOC the companies can track where the parcel exactly is, when was it delivered, and where
was it opened reducing the burden of lost revenues.
In covid when everything is being operated remotely from home, companies can take advantage of managing and operating
most of their business activities from a single user friendly platform AMOC. And this can be a new normal in the future post
COVID too
